THE RENEWED SPACE
This project exemplifies the transformative power of good design. Simply put, good design allows you to live life artfully. The newly remodeled kitchen effortlessly combines functionality and aesthetic appeal, providing a delightful space for cooking and spending quality time together. Infused with classic finishes and a timeless charm, the kitchen emanates an enduring atmosphere that will never go out of style. This photo hones in on the lap drawers on seating side of island.

This lakeside residence was envisioned as a timeless American home that blends naturally with its picturesque surroundings. The objective of the visualization was to showcase the architecture within its landscape, highlighting the relationship between the home, the water, and the surrounding greenery.
Careful attention was given to materials, lighting, and environmental details to create a realistic and inviting atmosphere that reflects the character of the property. The renderings were developed to help communicate the design intent while capturing the tranquility and charm of lakeside living.
The project was modeled in SketchUp and rendered using D5 Render, combining detailed architectural modeling with high-quality visualization to bring the residence to life.

The project includes turnkey construction of the entire architectural space, where the large open space is divided into functional areas – dining and living – by an impressive composition with a T layout that includes the kitchen with island, the living room furniture, and the equipped wall.
On linear composition, the kitchen with central island, developed on T45 model, is entirely in Gres Laminam Noir Desir, upon request of the customer. The material continuously covers the sides, the T45 drawer fronts, bins, and storage compartments, and the worktop incorporating a filo top hob and a built-in Gres sink. The painted structure in metal effect creates a linear contrast design that frames the doors and fronts.
The composition of columns, designed on model D90, has a natural Birch structure and front elements in Noce Canaletto with an inside handle. The set-up is punctuated by the alternation between storage compartments and appliances supplied such as a fridge column, thermo-regulated cellar with glass door, and ovens columns. The backlit glass cabinet on the bronze structure adds particular charm to the composition, while the retractable doors give access to the auxiliary work area. The cabinets above the ovens are in continuity with the columns and their opening is facilitated by a push & pull mechanism.
To delimit the functional space of the two rooms, a central wall has been created with doors in bronzed glass on both sides. Developed on model D90, it has structure and paneling in Noce Canaletto, while internal shelves, equipped with LED lighting, are made of glass.
The large open module features asymmetric composition compared to the central module in gres which houses the wood fireplace and home entertainment.
The alternation between drawers, storage compartments with flap doors, and open compartments of various heights create a compositional elegance.
In continuity with the kitchen furniture, in the living room, a built-in area cabinet has been realized with lower doors in the T45 model, an intermediate suspended unit with flap doors and LED lighting and an upper bookcase unit.

This West Columbia kitchen got new countertops in White Alpes granite, a stone with a light background scattered through with dark speckling and mineral flecks that catch the light differently depending on where you stand. It's the kind of pattern that reads calm from across the room and gets more interesting up close, which is exactly what you want on a surface you're going to be looking at every day.
Granite like this is quarried and cut into slabs, then polished to bring out that natural fleck and depth. It's dense, heat resistant, and about as tough a countertop material as you can put in a kitchen. You can set a hot pan on it without worrying, and it shrugs off the daily knife-and-cutting-board traffic that wears down softer stones. With a good sealer applied at install, it resists staining from wine, oil, and the usual kitchen spills for years before it needs to be redone.
We templated the space to fit around the existing gray shaker cabinets and stainless appliances, cutting the sink opening for the stainless steel sink and squaring up the seams so the pattern in the granite carries through cleanly from one run to the next. That's the part of the job that doesn't show up in a photo: getting the slab cut so the speckling doesn't look choppy at the seam, and getting the sink cutout dialed in so the reveal is even all the way around.
With the backsplash area still open, the countertop is doing a lot of the visual work right now, and it's holding its own. The light background of the White Alpes plays well against the gray cabinetry, and it'll give whatever backsplash goes in next a neutral, textured surface to build off of.
We do a lot of this kind of granite work around West Columbia and the rest of the Midlands. Kitchens like this one are a good reminder of why granite has stayed a go-to choice for so long: it looks good, it holds up, and it doesn't ask much of the homeowner once it's in.
