Our client wanted to transform his backyard without loosing the different levels in the process. Our teams made 3 levels; 1 level for Wall Gardening, 1 level to support the new deck and patio and teh third level even with the house. This design provided a great space for the new Teek wood Deck with natural stone patio.

Three different levels make up this island. The 6cm double ogee edge provides great detail to this unique shaped island. Prep space on one level featuring the sink, dishwasher, and microwave drawer, bar height seating on the second level, and a third level for display pieces rounds out the space. The dark stained maple cabinets have a special glaze on them to add to the warmth and provide depth. A tile backsplash wraps around the entire island.

A young working couple Mr.Chaitanya and Mrs.Akshata wanted to build their dream house. The house is located in North Bangalore. It is a 30 x 40, west facing plot with 3BHK ,one office space and semi covered terrace area.
The plinth of the house is raised and it has two levels within the ground floor. Ground floor has all common spaces and first floor has private areas.
We designed the house in an unique way with levels in plan and elevation. We used red granite and rough cement plastering for Elevation features. The red granite which is laid are of different sizes and patterns, which creates an unique look to the facade. The roofs are of different level with small projections. Their is a bold wall with cement finish and groove lines which creates verticality to building. The balcony, terrace and gates are of MS fabrication with black powder coating, which creates contrast to the white facade.

Completed in 2013, this house started as a traditionally-styled 1,800 sf., single story, two bedroom, one bath home and became an all-new warm contemporary 2,700 sf., two story, four bedroom, three bath residence for a family of five. The budget dictated the re-use of the existing foundations, garage and far right ground floor bedroom footprint. The City of San Mateo had strict planning rules prohibiting contemporary design, but the end result, a blend of traditional and contemporary, has become a model project for the city.
Being environmentally conscious, the owners utilized radiant hydronic heated engineered fumed-oak floors. They opted for fully operable windows with good cross-ventilation and a whole house fan instead of installing gas furnaces, ductwork, or air conditioning. The new second floor conceals a 3 kW solar photovoltaic system that cannot be seen from the street. The rock formation in the front yard is one of two bioswales that hold roof rainwater temporarily for slow dissipation into the city's storm water system.

This European kitchen has several different areas and functions. Each area has its own specific details but are tied together with distinctive farmhouse feel, created by combining medium wood and white cabinetry, different styles of cabinetry, mixed metals, warm, earth toned tile floors, blue granite countertops and a subtle blue and white backsplash. The hand-hammered copper counter on the peninsula ties in with the hammered copper farmhouse sink. The blue azul granite countertops have a deep layer of texture and beautifully play off the blue and white Italian tile backsplash and accent wall. The high gloss black hood was custom-made and has chrome banding. The French Lacanche stove has soft gold controls. This kitchen also has radiant heat under its earth toned limestone floors. A special feature of this kitchen is the wood burning stove. Part of the original 1904 house, we repainted it and set it on a platform. We made the platform a cohesive part of the space defining wall by using a herringbone pattern trim, fluted porcelain tile and crown moulding with roping. The office area’s built in desk and cabinets provide a convenient work and storage space. Topping the room off is a coffered ceiling.
In this classic English Tudor home located in Penn Valley, PA, we renovated the kitchen, mudroom, deck, patio, and the exterior walkways and driveway. The European kitchen features high end finishes and appliances, and heated floors for year-round comfort! The outdoor areas are spacious and inviting. The open trellis over the hot tub provides just the right amount of shelter. These clients were referred to us by their architect, and we had a great time working with them to mix classic European styles in with contemporary, current spaces.

This is a wonderful lap pool that has a taste of modern with the clean lines and cement cabana that also has a flair of the rustic with wood beams and a hill country stone bench. It also has a simple grass lawn that has very large planters as signature statements to once again give it a modern feel. Photography by Vernon Wentz of Ad Imagery
