This project is a great example of how to transform a historic architectural home into a very livable and modern aesthetic. The home was completely gutted and reworked. All lighting and furnishings were custom designed for the project by Garret Cord Werner. The interior architecture was also completed by our firm to create interesting balance between old and new. Great room - contemporary great room idea in Miami with beige walls

This condo underwent an amazing transformation! The kitchen was moved from one side of the condo to the other so the homeowner could take advantage of the beautiful view. This beautiful hutch makes a wonderful serving counter and the tower on the left hides a supporting column. The beams in the ceiling are not only a great architectural detail but they allow for lighting that could not otherwise be added to the condos concrete ceiling. The lovely crown around the room also conceals solar shades and drapery rods.

A transitional dining room, where we incorporated the clients' antique dining table and paired it up with chairs that are a mix of upholstery and wooden accents. A traditional navy and cream rug anchors the furniture, and dark gray walls with accents of brass, mirror and some color in the artwork and accessories pull the space together.

The site of this modern new residence presented many challenges due to the extensive amount of ledge on the property. By working with the grades, we were able to take advantage of the natural beauty of the stone at the entrance of the house. The ledge is also highlighted from the rear view of the house at the new pool. The home’s extensive use of natural light and large screen porch blurs the lines between the interior and exterior space.
