The Big Bang dining table is based on our classic Vega table, but with a surprising new twist. Big Bang is extendable to accommodate more guests, with center storage for two fold-out butterfly table leaves, tucked out of sight.
Collapsed, Big Bang measures 50”x50” to accommodate daily life in our client’s small dining nook, but expands to either 72” or 94” when needed. Big Bang was originally commissioned in white oak, but is available in all of our solid wood materials.
Several coats of hand-applied clear finish accentuate Big Bangs natural wood surface & add a layer of extra protection.
The Big Bang is a physical theory that describes how the universe… and this table, expanded.
Material: White Oak
Collapsed Dimensions: 50”L x 50”W x 30”H
Extendable Dimensions: (1) 72" or (2) 94"
Tabletop thickness: 1.5”
Finish: Natural clear coat

Living room - huge transitional brown floor and vaulted ceiling living room idea in Chicago with white walls, a standard fireplace and a wall-mounted tv

The "main room" in the apartment had to serve multiple functions - a living room, a kitchen, a dining room, as well as a place to store items like our client's bicycle. Because space was tight, we used a small bistro table so that our client could sit with one other person (or more by pulling up other chairs) and enjoy a meal. By using a wall mounted bike rack that also incorporated some storage for his helmet + lock, we were able to save some space, and love the way that it highlights our client's graffiti art purchased on the streets of NYC!

We began this beautiful project at the pre-build stage with our clients and managed it from beginning to end. This project is luxury condo living on a golf course. Our client loved all shades of blues, and we incorporated them in each and every room throughout the home. The classy furnishings and cozy decor create a warm, inviting ambiance. At the reveal, the wife shared that "I feel like Barbie, and this is my DREAMHOUSE!"

The dining room features heavy trim build-up on the ceiling with white wainscoting. The walls are covered in grass cloth wallpaper. A dark wood dining room table is paired with light gray upholstered chairs.
