Inspiration for a mid-sized modern master gray tile and porcelain tile porcelain tile freestanding bathtub remodel in Atlanta with shaker cabinets, gray cabinets, a one-piece toilet, gray walls, an undermount sink and quartz countertops

This is the sun room, located directly below the 1st floor patio which has the mahogany pergola and a 2nd fire pit above. It was incredibly difficult to achieve the ceiling coffers, considering the steel structure and heavy concrete deck above. The waterproofing was constructed with seamed copper under 4" concrete deck and tennessee crab natural stone patio decking. The flooring material is also tennessee crab as well as the exterior pool deck.....this creates an incredibly indoor outdoor link when viewing the pool area from inside this fantastic space. The fire pit exhaust hood was faux finished to appear rustic and aged.....It is constructed of copper,,,,

Designed in conjunction with Vinyet Architecture for homeowners who love the outdoors, this custom home flows smoothly from inside to outside with large doors that extends the living area out to a covered porch, hugging an oak tree. It also has a front porch and a covered path leading from the garage to the mud room and side entry. The two car garage features unique designs made to look more like a historic carriage home. The garage is directly linked to the master bedroom and bonus room. The interior has many high end details and features walnut flooring, built-in shelving units and an open cottage style kitchen dressed in ship lap siding and luxury appliances. We worked with Krystine Edwards Design on the interiors and incorporated products from Ferguson, Victoria + Albert, Landrum Tables, Circa Lighting

Location: Nantucket, MA, USA This classic Nantucket home had not been renovated in several decades and was in serious need of an update. The vision for this summer home was to be a beautiful, light and peaceful family retreat with the ability to entertain guests and extended family. The focal point of the kitchen is the La Canche Chagny Range in Faience with custom hood to match. We love how the tile backsplash on the Prep Sink wall pulls it all together and picks up on the spectacular colors in the White Princess Quartzite countertops. In a nod to traditional Nantucket Craftsmanship, we used Shiplap Panelling on many of the walls including in the Kitchen and Powder Room. The owners requested a Private Resort that catered to their love for entertaining friends and family, a place where 2 people would feel just as comfortable as 42. Located on the western edge of a Wisconsin lake, the site provides a range of natural ecosystems from forest to prairie to water, allowing the building to have a more complex relationship with the lake - not merely creating large unencumbered views in that direction. The gently sloping site to the lake is atypical in many ways to most lakeside lots - as its main trajectory is not directly to the lake views - allowing for focus to be pushed in other directions such as a courtyard and into a nearby forest. The biggest challenge was accommodating the large scale gathering spaces, while not overwhelming the natural setting with a single massive structure. Our solution was found in breaking down the scale of the project into digestible pieces and organizing them in a Camp-like collection of elements: - Main Lodge: Providing the proper entry to the Camp and a Mess Hall - Bunk House: A communal sleeping area and social space. - Party Barn: An entertainment facility that opens directly on to a swimming pool & outdoor room. - Guest Cottages: A series of smaller guest quarters. - Private Quarters: The owners private space that directly links to the Main Lodge. These elements are joined by a series green roof connectors, that merge with the landscape and allow the out buildings to retain their own identity. This Camp feel was further magnified through the materiality - specifically the use of Doug Fir, creating a modern Northwoods setting that is warm and inviting. The use of local limestone and poured concrete walls ground the buildings to the sloping site and serve as a cradle for the wood volumes that rest gently on them. The connections between these materials provided an opportunity to add a delicate reading to the spaces and re-enforce the camp aesthetic. The oscillation between large communal spaces and private, intimate zones is explored on the interior and in the outdoor rooms. From the large courtyard to the private balcony - accommodating a variety of opportunities to engage the landscape was at the heart of the concept. The Shoshone residence is envisioned as a monumental limestone volume that will house an eclectic collection of art and sculpture. The project examines unique lighting conditions throughout the day by utilizing a series of curved light scoops to direct and filter the illumination. These light scoops vary in size and shape in order to materialize a distinct set of experiences throughout the residence. The project rises three stories connecting the ground level neighboring community gardens to the city-wide panorama from the roof deck above. The vertical circulation linking these moments is contained within the largest light scoop monitor.
