This men's closet features hanging space for clothes and adjacent drawers and shelving in a dark Italian woodgrain finish. The clients worked with the collaborative efforts of builders Ron and Fred Parker, architect Don Wheaton, and interior designer Robin Froesche to create this incredible home.

This narrow galley style primary bathroom was opened up by eliminating a wall between the toilet and vanity zones, enlarging the vanity counter space, and expanding the shower into dead space between the existing shower and the exterior wall. Now the space is the relaxing haven they'd hoped for for years. The warm, modern palette features soft green cabinetry, sage green ceramic tile with a high variation glaze and a fun accent tile with gold and silver tones in the shower niche that ties together the brass and brushed nickel fixtures and accessories, and a herringbone wood-look tile flooring that anchors the space with warmth. Wood accents are repeated in the softly curved mirror frame, the unique ash wood grab bars, and the bench in the shower. Quartz counters and shower elements are easy to mantain and provide a neutral break in the palette. The sliding shower door system allows for easy access without a door swing bumping into the toilet seat. The closet across from the vanity was updated with a pocket door, eliminating the previous space stealing small swinging doors. Storage features include a pull out hamper for quick sorting of dirty laundry and a tall cabinet on the counter that provides storage at an easy to grab height.

There simply was no room for it, so when we were called in to design the bathroom, we were asked to figure out a way to do what so many home owners are doing right now. That is; how do we bring the laundry room upstairs where all of the bedrooms are located, where all the dirty laundry is generated, saving us from having to go down 3 floors back and forth. So, the looming questions were, can this be done in our already small bathroom area, and If this can be done, how can we do it to make it fit within the upstairs living quarters seamlessly? It would take some creative thinking, some compromising and some clients who trust you enough to make some decisions that would affect not only their bathroom but their closets, their hallway, parts of their master bedroom and then having the logistics to work around their family, going in and out of their private sanctuary, keeping the area clean while generating a mountain of dust and debris, all in the same breath of being mindful of their precious children and a lovely dog.

This custom made slide out, is made to replace laundry baskets and discretely store dirty laundry. The Hard wood counter top, made from salvaged barn beams, clear coated for easy cleaning, provides a space to fold and organise clothes.

We reconfigured the space, moving the door to the toilet room behind the vanity which offered more storage at the vanity area and gave the toilet room more privacy. If the linen towers each vanity sink has their own pullout hamper for dirty laundry. Its bright but the dramatic green tile offers a rich element to the room
