This bathroom was designed and built for a family in Fairfax, VA who wanted to get better use of the corner bathroom in the master bedroom. Before we remodeled their bathroom, there was a lot of wasted space. Now they have a lovely sunken tub with water jets that they use frequently and love.

This is a large luxurious bathroom where the homeowners wanted an upscale sunken corner tub. The finished product is even more impressive in person.

This design was a true collaboration between the designer and the homeowner. She had a lot of art work she wanted attractively displayed and a comfortable sitting area. The focal point of the fireplace and television is perfect for her combination lifestyle.

Cabinet bases were replaced and designed with full overlay shaker style doors and drawers. The upper cabinets remained in tact and the door fronts refaced with shaker style doors. The light color granite counter tops with darker veining added to character and tied in with the dark floors and iron hardware. The white subway tile back splash brightened up the work areas.New plumbing fixtures created a transistional style.the walls were painted a warm but light greige tone and the white cabinets created a nice contrast

Previously renovated in 2009. Gutted to the studs, shower pan levelled in a bed of mortar, new subway tile installed with thinset over Schluter Kerdi board.
