We started by painting a feature wall with Benjamin Moore Antiguan Sky which instantly brightened up the space. We made our very own artwork using colored pastel crafting paper bought and inserted it into white frames we already had. Swapping artwork is an easy way to change your décor for the holidays or as the seasons change. When we hung our pictures, we kept the spacing consistent between each to keep the look calm and relaxing. The combination of the white IKEA desk, lamp, chair and picture frames creates a bright fresh and feminine feel for the space. The trendy floral pillow and turquoise stool give the room the right punch of color and elegance. And of course, a vase of fresh flowers is always a perfect finishing touch for any room. ®UTRdecorating

This bedroom was a DIY project. We stenciled the back wall for an accent. We found some awesome custom euro pillows on Etsy that helped pull this room together. Using sheers made this dark room brighter while adding privacy.

This Florida Gulf home is a project by DIY Network where they asked viewers to design a home and then they built it! Talk about giving a consumer what they want! We were fortunate enough to have been picked to tile the kitchen--and our tile is everywhere! Using tile from countertop to ceiling is a great way to make a dramatic statement. But it's not the only dramatic statement--our monochromatic Moroccan Fish Scale tile provides a perfect, neutral backdrop to the bright pops of color throughout the kitchen. Entering in through the living room, the Mohrman's creative nature is immediately evident. A neutral grey sectional acts as a springboard for the bright patterns of Chelsea's handmade pillows and lampshades. "We enjoy easy decorating with budget friendly items or fun DIYs", explains Chelsea, whom offers instruction on many of her crafting projects on her blog, Farm Fresh Therapy. The couple search antique malls and flea markets for the majority of their decor, often times adapting them to a new purpose. The illuminated "M" for example, was an internet find.
