When we met with our customer for the initial consult his biggest concern was having a dog friendly space and utilizing their side yard. We came up with design to give them an entertaining space, garden area with custom made garden boxes and an area for their dog. This was accomplished by using chateau block, Holland pavers, pet turf, Canadian rock, and lighting.

This couple was very excited to get a new deck as they enjoy entertaining their family outside. They also have a dog so they asked us to install a dog gate. They now feel safe letting their dog out on the deck and into the yard. This deck was built out of low maintenance Trex Select decking in Saddle color. They picked pressure treated wood with aluminum balusters for the railing.

At the backyard, we modernized the existing condition by replacing an outdated and grungy cloth awning with a stained wood trellis, repainting the stucco walls white, and windows and doors black, and updating lighting fixtures. The landscaping and paving was completely redone with the exception of a few mature trees, to create a kid and dog-friendly yard.
