Childress Interiors is a full service interior design firm, creating high end interiors for over forty years. CI collaborates with clients to manage every phase of construction with builder and architect during new building and full remodeling projects all sizes. In addition to construction management and architectural design, we offer creative interior design geared to each client. Finish selections, furnishings, lighting, cabinet design are all a part of our design approach, from a few pieces of furniture to whole house refresh-- all are part of the team approach creating a pleasurable experience for the client.

Suzy Childress of Childress Interiors has multiple gifts of designer, decorator, planning and implementing. She assisted us with a 6,000 sq. ft. remodel of a 1975-built home. She worked well with our builder, our subcontractors, and the tradesmen that she brought to the job. Her design work was incredible. Also, she has an eye for selecting fabrics, furniture, rugs, art and the finishing touch of objects to truly make a statement in the home’s finished presentation. She toured us through showrooms, guided us through web sights and introduced us to artisans to design just the right piece. Suzy allows the customer to demonstrate their personality and style while introducing ideas of her own. She always gave us the final authority on selections and presented boards with these selections shown for each room. She created a very pleasant atmosphere for us to work together. We highly recommend Childress Interiors for your design project and your decorating needs.

Suzy is so creative, fun and easy to work with. She is fast and gets the job done. She helped remodel the downstairs of our home and I always get compliments on her work, and am asked for her name. You cannot go wrong working with Suzy. I highly recommend her!!

We have worked with Suzy for many years. She has completed multiple projects for us including kitchen and family room remodels, fabric & paint color selections, and most recently the take-down and reinstallation of all the window coverings in our home. She is professional, courteous, punctual and so much FUN to work with. I would give more than 5 stars if possible!!

We loved working with Suzy on our kitchen remodel! She is full of great ideas and really took our specific needs to heart. Our kitchen is absolutely beautiful and a joy to cook in. I would not hesitate to use her again.

I cannot rate Suzy Childreas high enough. Her attention to all the details and small items that distinguish her from other designers is amazing. She has such an eye for color, style and what is current is always correct. She is good about sticking to a budget and getting the most for your dollars, while still making sure the project is the best it can be. She is also a great space planner, and invaluable on new construction to make sure you don’t make mistakes with outlets, lighting, electrical, etc.. I think she is truly the best designer in Dallas.

Suzy is not only the most creative designer I know, but her problem solving skills saved the day for us when the builder had no ideas on how to give us what we wanted. She works so hard and delivers for her clients. She starts by listening, really listening to what the client wants. Then she figures out how to delight them!
