This is technically both living room and family room combined into one space, which is very common in city living. This poses a conundrum for a designer because the space needs to function on so many different levels. On a day to day basis, it's just a place to watch television and chill. When company is over though, it metamorphosis into a sophisticated and elegant gathering place. Wonderful little table that can open up to seat four, can be tucked under a window when not in use. Example is crafted of Tiger Maple in our Honey finish, second example in details is Tiger Maple in Cinnamon finish. Mortise & tenon construction on base, beaded aprons. Expertly executed “rule-joints” connect the leaves to the top, table has a pleasing appearance with leaves up or folded down. Wood slides under leaves pull out to support leaf in up position, very sturdy design. Signed and dated by the cabinetmaker, finely finished. 20-1/2″ wide X 32″ long X 30″ high with the leaves down. 37″ wide X 32″ long X 30″ high with both leaves up. Table can be ordered with a painted base.

Cross cut travertine tiles give this gas fireplace an unusual look that pops off the dark walls. The ottomans tuck under the coffee table but can be pulled out for additional seating or foot rests.

This project showcases a space-saving drop leaf dining table designed for small apartments and compact living spaces. The expandable design allows the table to adapt easily from everyday use to larger dining needs. Minimalistic living room has a coffee table with sliding underneath ottoman providing additional seating. Cowhide area rug brings another texture to the room and warmth to this modern room.
