The handheld shower on an adjustable slide bar provides flexibility for bathers who are either seated or standing, as well as space for caregivers. The combination clothes washer/heat pump dryer makes good use of the space under the stairs as well as proximity to water supply pipes and waste drains that service the bathroom. The 2" x 2" floor tiles in the shower area provide additional traction to mitigate the potential for slips and falls.

Feast your eyes on this modern master bath renovation by Thompson Remodeling. Gorgeous hickory cabinets with a slate finish set an upscale tone. The linear lines created by the center storage cabinet are nicely offset by a quartz countertop with round sinks. The walk-in shower features rich, ceramic tile walls and ceiling set in a repeating pattern and a pebble stone floor. Storage niches were set into the wall so that soaps and shampoos are kept hidden from view.

Design, Fabrication, Install & Photography By MacLaren Kitchen and Bath This master bathroom boasts a clean crisp modern feel with a grout less solid surface shower and floor. The vanity top and triple door cabinet was custom built from Glacier White Corian, as well as the drip-less shower pan, routed on the entire outer corner to keep moisture within the shower walls. To the left of the shower fixtures are two floating corian shelves for shampoo. An inset corian medicine cabinet was installed within the corian wall to the right of the mirror and custom corian trim separates the floor from the walls.

Instead of just a basic bathroom... the Architect added 6" to the width (additional entrance & drying space) and 18" to the depth (for drawer storage) and "flipped" the shower valves to the opposite side of the "plumbing wall" at oversized tub / shower. Note: custom bullnose edging at hexagonal tile
