The home, designed for a family with an extreme focus on outdoor living and sports, includes a basement equipped with a home gym, batting cage, and steam room. Outdoor facilities include a sport court and putting green. Additional features of the home include a motor court with dual garages, separate guest quarters, and a walk-in cooler. The clients, receptive to the architect's exploration of multi-use spaces reflecting modern life, gained a laundry room which functions more as a home command station for a highly engaged mother than a place for chores. The multi-use room includes a washer and dryer, wrapping station, project area, winter storage, and her office. The master suite also includes a spa-like bathroom featuring Duravit fixtures and Hansgrohe digital shower, a custom solid surface stone bathtub and double sink by ADM Bathroom Design, and a DXV AT-200 smart toilet/ bidet system that opens, closes and flushes automatically and employs a night-light, air-freshener, and self-cleaning system. This floor also features two more large bedrooms that can easily fit queen-size beds, an additional guest bathroom, and a washer/dryer.

Packed with amenities and home automation, this studio truly maximizes the use of the space. It features color-adjusting lighting and a sound system throughout. The kitchen includes a built-in water filter/dispenser, Miele washer dryer, BlueStar range, paneled Miele dishwasher and an air fryer/microwave speed oven on a roll-out shelf in a pantry. In the bathroom, a phone app-controllable shower with body sprays, hand shower, oscillating rain showerhead, a steam system, bidet toilet, a drawer lighted floating vanity. For the bedroom, an automatic bed system, desk and remote opening closet by Ori. Lighted automatic window shades, deep well window frames to conceal a window AC (and cord) and a high-def big screen that sits perfectly inside the wall unit that is the backside of the automatic closet. There's also a fully adjustable electric fireplace.

I prefer wall-mounted toilets because it is easy to clean under the commode, it saves floor space and reduces the profile of this essential fixture. When the bathroom door is opened, the lid on this high-tech Toto toilet/bidet opens and the light turns on. It also has adjustable temperature for the spray, the seat and dryer, plus an easy-to-reach control panel on the wall and a slim wireless remote control with illuminated touch pad. The interior of this single family residential home was in need of a remodel. The space was enhanced aesthetically, re-worked for better functionality, and opened up for more natural light and space. The Key areas of focus were the kitchen, master bathroom, and master walk in closet. These areas were most changed architecturally. The spaces we reconfigured to make them more user friendly, adding storage and better foot traffic paths. A wall was removed that divided the kitchen and the living space providing better lighting and an open concept peninsula. The kitchen layout was also re-worked moving the refrigerator, stove, and sink to provide a better configuration for cooking and entertaining. The rest of the home was remodeled to coordinate with the finishes and selections of the master bath and kitchen.
