This finished photo was taken by Stephen Gerhart from Day One Lighting, this is a project we collaborated on in 2014. This project absolutely needs to be seen. With the effort put into it and the tremendous amount of time it took to complete, I was glad to see it go away for a while. Day One Lighting in West Palm Beach brought this one to the table, we added our expertise in all the glass related details. Together we produced this wild creative illuminated glass water feature wall. I am just seeing this particular photo now for the first time and it is absolutely stunning!!! This wall is about 60” wide and 80”tall. What you see is a full field of custom cut and bonded recycled tumbled glass rock to 1/2" backed safety glass. The water cascades and falls elegantly across the front face out of a cool glass spillway. It is fully surrounded in a self-contained and programmable custom LED lighting system furnished by Day One Lighting, In fact Stephen headed up and delivered the complete package to this unique project. The creative backing is our secret, along with every important detail about its dynamic assembly. Wait to see what is next?

Front entry detail of a new construction home in the Berkeley Hills, CA. A custom geometric laser-cut steel privacy screen casts dramatic diamond-pattern shadows across the entry wall, creating a dynamic interplay of light and texture throughout the day. Birch plywood soffit extends the roofline over a sheltered covered entry with a pivot-style front door, recessed entry lighting, and slate entry step. Design elements include: dark vertical steel cladding, gravel driveway, and modern brass house numbers. Architecture by CB Architecture + Design in collaboration with Timbre Architecture.

This living room is enhanced by small aperture, flangeless ceiling lights and sound. The TV is perfect for the space, and the soundbar not only sounds great but it also looks amazing. Rather than matching the soundbar to the TV through a grill that extends but is hollow on the ends, we selected a custom built soundbar with everything uniquely designed for this TV—from the size of the frame, to the exact locations of the speaker drivers inside. It's a perfect match. A lot of design went into the ceiling sound and lighting, as well. Each LED lamp in the ceiling is individually wired home and individually addressable by the system for uniquely dynamic scenes: entertain, movie-time, evening, away, etc.. For the wall art, the lights were chosen for their beam spread, filter, angle, and more. The end result is wall art that pops in the evening.

This dynamic Theater room was constructed by our crew from start to finish. We created multi level seating area with theater chairs. Then went to work on the Asthertics with charcoal paint colors, lighting sconces and LED lighting. Completing the look with custom sound panels. We set this theater up with a Dragonfly screen and Sony projector. Then added the Marantz powered Dolby Atmos system for a fully immersive theater experience.. The Cherry on top was the custom snack bar we built in the back for easy access to snacks and bevareges during the movie!

A dynamic client desired a secluded respite enclave for their Bedford home. The pool and terrace area anchors the enclave featuring an cabana/entertainment cottageesque structure at one end and multi-level seating grotto's with a central outdoor fireplace at the other end. The comprehensive design addressed a range of needs including serving intimate family moments while accommodating large gatherings. From family to guests who primarily work in the music industry, the entire enclave was designed to serve a wide bandwidth of needs. The cabana features a large open plan gathering room complete with wood burning fireplace, media wall, game areas and open full service kitchen/bar areas with adjacent cafe table seating. The gathering room opens directly onto the terrace area via large folding french doors providing a combination of 24' clear area in 3 openings. Cutting edge media is linked to a robust integrated wifi network throughout the interior and exterior serving state of the art interior and exterior audio systems.
