Soluzione luminosa dal carattere suggestivo che, grazie allo smaterializzarsi degli elementi di supporto e alla sua asimmetricità conferisce al prodotto una natura scenografica e poetica: non solo funzionalità, ma anche ricercatezza estetica e decorativa. “I tradizionali lampadari sono solitamente disegnati secondo una rigida ripetizione simmetrica di uno stesso pezzo, come per esempio un pendaglio di cristallo. Anche con Stochastic lo stesso oggetto è ripetuto più volte, ma in maniera apparentemente casuale, originando così una speciale complessità. La sorgente luminosa LED è collocata al centro della nuvola creando un contrasto con le leggerissime sfere di borosilicato. Nascondendo la sorgente luminosa, la luce stessa, riflessa e rifratta, diventa protagonista della composizione. Come nell’installazione Layers (Parigi – 2012) i singoli oggetti diventano una cosa unica grazie al complesso gioco di luci che ha origine al centro dell’installazione”.

Custom trim work designed and installed to create a new television surround, picture frames, and accent crown molding. The crown molding is wired for L.E.D. accent lighting that is installed on the underside of the crown build-up as well as above so that the accent lighting can be used in either direction.
