This new powder room used to be nothing more than a small closet! Closing off 1 door and opening another created a new 1/2 bathroom to service the guests. The wall mounted toilet with the hidden tank saves a lot of room and makes cleaning an easy task, the vanity is also wall mounted and its only 9" deep! to give the space some life and make it into a fun place to visit the sconce light fixtures on each side of the mirror have a cool rose \ flower design with crazy shadows casted on the wall and the full height tiled toilet wall is made out of small multi colored hex tiles with flower design in them.

Remodeling the kitchen in a historic home previously featured on AETV’s Hoarders was no easy task for the Fuko-Rizzo family. Fortunately, Marsh Kitchen & Bath designers understood the family’s vision for keeping the integrity of this 1929 home while carrying the space into the 21st century. The Fuko-Rizzos needed a kitchen that would work for their young family, but also a kitchen as grand as the rest of this historic home.

To quickly update this entryway, we did 3 easy tasks. 1. Removed old screen temporarily (stored in the cellar). 2. Painted vintage white steel door black. 3. Added brass door knocker.

This project shows the progress from beginning to end! We were hired by a local designer, Chris King of Manifesto Interiors, to refinish these well made, yet dated, kitchen cabinets. He "dressed them up" by having a carpenter add some architectural details and decorative trim. Ruby Rose Studio then refinished the old and the new with a custom painted cabinet finish. Refinishing is no easy task.... the prep alone is the most expensive part of a project like this. However, the homeowner still saved 10's of thousands of dollars! What an economical and GREEN way to remodel/update a kitchen! Please note that this album contains the "before," "in process," and "after" photos.

A light colored laundry room with front-load washer dryers and accented by washboard décor. Convenient drying racks mounted to the wall and above the sink make laundry an easy task, and maximized storage with custom cabinetry.

The only popcorn left in this place is "Fishers Popcorn"! The first order of business - eliminate the caked on popcorn walls and ceiling, no easy task! Second - design a functional eat-in kitchen with what little wall space was available. Third - Lighting! It was important to have more cabinet storage, trash can pull out, an actual silverware drawer and of course a coffee bar. To keep it budget friendly I kept the existing refrigerator and dishwasher and replaced the bulky range and micro hood with a peninsula configuration. I decided to use copper lighting and accents as opposed to the predictable silver or gold. I think it really pops off the harbor blue cabinets and gives a subtle, feminine, mermaid feel. To top this kitchen off right, a scale tile backsplash and Quartz Borghini countertops with waterfalls were installed. This bathroom was designed for two professionals who dedicate themselves to the health and wellness of others. The objective of the project was to be able to practice for themselves, what they preach to their patients. The original 90” x 162” primary bathroom had so many pain points (would you to look at a toilet when taking a relaxing bath?), that it should have been an easy task to meet their needs and desires, but it was anything but due to structural issues with the home. Several design layouts were considered before it was concluded that the only approach to check the ‘needs’ boxes was to flip the primary fixtures in the room from one end of this long, narrow bathroom to the other and incorporating a wet room. The needs list included a soaking tub, a spacious shower that accommodated dual showering on business workday morning, more counter space, a bidet toilet, more storage, better lighting, better heat and humidity control, a soothing color pallet and privacy from the neighbors. An air jet soaking tub (motor concealed in the nearby vented base cabinet) under a new window with privacy glass on the bottom and a clear glass awning window on top checked two boxes. The center drain for the bathing features provides space for two people to shower simultaneously while highlighting the soothing color pallet from every view point in the room. The integrated bidet toilet is an affordable luxury that delivers health and wellness multiples times in a day. The expanded vanity optimized storage while providing more, clutter free countertop space. Utilizing a variety of lighting types, with dimmers, provides the right illumination for every bathroom activity. Lastly, the in-floor heat, toe-kick heater and relocated bathroom exhaust fan over the shower help maintain a consistently comfortable temperature and humidity level in this bathroom transformation.

Re-purposed pianos! Moved piano out of client's home, removed the harp (no easy task), and then hung the lid and harp as art, back lighting will be added. A bench will be made from other remaining piano parts.

They wanted to uplift the entire room, with better lighting, updated built ins and new gas log fireplace. Challenges: It was not an easy task to get rid of all masonry and brick wall. Gas lines and powder line were quite distance away and the family room floor was a concrete slab. Design solutions: It was important for the couple to create an optional separation between the family room and the kitchen for times that she is having her book club gang over and husband wanted to watch his sporting events. Part of the wall between kitchen and family room was taken by a closet. We have removed that entire wall and implemented a 6” wide Barn door for a partial solution to their problem. New wiring for light and cable wires were running into the old masonry wall. Gas line gave the old wood burning fireplace and new life. Custom built in cabinetry was placed in place old masonry wall. A new stone hearth and surround wrapped around the new fireplace. New hardwood wide plank flooring gave this family room warmth. New recess lighting has offered a much brighter room. Outcome: He gets to enjoy his favorite football team beat up the rebels while she gets to have her tea party around the kitchen table. And in all other occasions they get to cuddle by the flames of a new fireplace.

Bridget Morrissey Besides the front door, the kitchen has a doorway to the covered 10x11 breezeway that leads to the oversized two car garage. Electric outlets on the front of the garage make vacuuming your car an easy task. Behind the garage is a 12x22 porch and a patio for outdoor grilling. Bluejays, Bluebirds, Barn Swallows and Woodpeckers are native to the area. A vegetable garden and a fire pit round out the yard.

Just found some pics of an aprox 4,000+ square foot second floor residential addition we built in 2011. Originally we built the commercial part of the building (animal hospital) in 2002. This was not an easy task to accomplish this "mixed use" residential addition during all operating hours of the animal hospital.This project was a great example of uncompromising quality, construction time, and ancillary factors to keep the hospital running during"business as usual". Additionally we worked threw that very snowy winter to meet our deadline. Then again, we do love to challenge ourselves to keep things interesting! (22 photos)

These are just a couple of images from this project. I worked with a couple relocating to Hong Kong who wanted to move into their new rental as quickly as possible. They brought some pieces with them from New York and had the info available ,so I was able to work on space planning , layouts and design or furniture, artwork and decor whilst it was being shipped. The client was very happy " "Emma has helped me to decorate my apartment in Repulse Bay. It was not an easy task as we had brought a chunk of furniture from New York, and I wasn't entirely happy with some of them. But she worked with them and created such space that looks so cohesive, everything looks almost like we got them together all at once. She thought about different options and choices so carefully before presenting to me, I didn't even have to go back and forth with her at all, which saved a lot of time and effort. I instantly liked everything she picked. She has a great taste, and carefully listens to you and really understands what you want for your home.
