Their primary goals were to increase the size of the shower, add a rain head, add a freestanding tub and overall freshen the feel of the space. The existing layout of the bath worked well, so we left the basic footprint the same, but increased the size of the shower and added a freestanding tub on a bit of an angle which allowed for some additional storage. One of the most important things on the wish list was adding a rainhead in the shower, but this was not an easy task with the angled ceiling. We came up with the solution of using an extra long wall-mounted shower arm that was reinforced with a meal bracket attached the ceiling. This did the trick, and no extra framing or insulation was required to make it work. The materials selected for the space are classic and fresh. Large format white oriental marble is used throughout the bath, on the floor in a herrinbone pattern and in a staggered brick pattern on the walls. Alder cabinets with a gray stain contrast nicely with the white marble, while shiplap detail helps unify the space and gives it a casual and cozy vibe. Storage solutions include an area for towels and other necessities at the foot of the tub, roll out shelves and out storage in the vanities and a custom niche and shaving ledge in the shower. Creating a place for learning in this family home was an easy task. Our team spent one weekend installing a floating desk in a dormer area to create a temporary home learning nook that can be converted into a shelf once the kids are back in school. We finished the space to transform into an arts and craft room for this budding artist.

When our Aspen studio was tasked with furnishing this home, we went all out to create a gorgeous space for our clients. We decorated the bedroom with an in-stock bed, nightstand, and beautiful bedding. An original painting by an LA artist elevates the vibe and pulls the color palette together. The fireside sitting area of this home features a lovely lounge chair, and the limestone and blackened steel fireplace create a sophisticated vibe. A thick shag rug pulls the entire space together.⁠ In the dining area, we used a light oak table and custom-designed complements. This light-filled corner engages easily with the greenery outside through large lift-and-slide doors. A stylish powder room with beautiful blue tiles adds a pop of freshness.

We adding the addition to this historic home, there was a very large void to accommodate the home's chimney. Rather than let this space go to waste, we designed these deep appliance garages. Inside are pull-outs that allow easy access and ease of use. Each appliance garage has a power strip counted at the back. We also chose to mount a Task angled power strip on the bottom of the wall cabinets rather than mar the tile backsplash with outlets.

The laundry room is both functional and organized, featuring built-in home lockers that provide ample storage for coats, shoes, and bags, making it easy to keep the space clutter-free. With efficient appliances and thoughtful cabinetry, this room offers a seamless transition from laundry tasks to daily routines, ensuring everything has its place.

The daughter’s playroom is a girl’s dream with a lot of room for activities and crafting! Multiple stations are seen around the room to fulfill her wishes to be able to transform and utilize the space for various tasks. A crafting station backed with a peg board, paper dispenser, TV, and cleanable surface. Her initial, H, was painted on the wall in her favorite color blue, asymmetrically to ground the craft area. A seating area is set across from the craft space to relax and watch TV; storage/easy to move ottomans sit in front of the sofa so the space can easily transform into an open area for her to spread out. In the back area a tack-board and chalk board wall fill the wall for her to let her creativity shine and display her art let her imagination run wild.
