Our homeowner had dreamt about one day redoing her beyond outdated kitchen since they day her husband carried her over the threshold. Vinyl flooring used for a backsplash, dingy carpeting, laminate with no sheen left to speak of and mismatched cabinetry…. it was time to make it happen. A year’s worth of planning later, her time capsule became one dreamy kitchen. Functionality reigns supreme in this small, but efficient kitchen where every cabinet has a story to tell and a place to store it. Countertop space to the right of the stove was an added necessity for function and safety. The raised snack bar is perfect for day to day meals and the lowered countertop was a must for this petite baker. A new lighting plan includes recessed lights, under-cabinet and accent lights, while new lighting fixtures reflect the client’s sense of style. Dingy brick patterned carpet was removed making way for new hardwood floors toothed in from the dining room. An airy palette gained some weight with the use of larger details; the oversized hood, beefy turned posts, prominent apron front sink and a grouping of tall cabinets on the refrigerator wall. We love the elongated single island and the efficiency of the step-down wooden culinary prep counter. With a meticulous attention to detail the glass shelves are a 1/2" thick and glass fronted cabinet doors are beveled. Married totally to clean lines the linear pulls and square knobs are jewels to this room. Oversized wall cabinets with crown to the 9' ceilings insure no space has been wasted. When it was time to update their small and poorly functional master bath, these homeowners approached Renovisions for help. The small 5’x8’ size constraints was a challenge but ‘Team Renovisions’ was up for the task and came up with a beautiful creative use of space which incorporates a spacious walk-in shower, a curved furniture-styled vanity with porcelain lavatory top, a sleek and energy efficient luxury performance toilet, with faucet and shower fixtures in chrome finish. Safety is a must for our projects and this decorative grab bar that matches the towel holder accessories is evidence of that as it provides both functional and aesthetic attributes. 18”x18” porcelain tiles in a brown marble pattern was a great choice as these over-sized tiles increased the feeling of the room while the rich cherry finish of the vanity complimented the brown veining of the tile nicely. This newly remodeled master bath is clearly an example of making the most out of a small space. Beauty, functionality and style – it has it all!

This central staircase offers access to all three levels of the home. Along side the staircase is a elevator that also accesses all 3 levels of living space.

This remodeled bathroom exists within a silo attached to the client's home. We kept the footprint as is and updated the cabinet layout, employed a small farmhouse sink, gooseneck plumbing fixture and sconce, minimized the mirror, local crackle subway tiles, water efficient comfort height toilet, introduced a handheld shower held, better and more efficient lighting plan, removed carpet all while giving the look of washed wood with tiled planks.
