All too often, when a project is complete, it’s the designer who gets all the glory. But I bow down to the amazing team at ProForm. They are not builders or contractors. They are craftspeople who care just as much about the detail, the heart of the design, and the happiness of the clients as we did. I am certain that our designs would not have come to life as beautifully as they did without the ProForm team behind them.

Proform has been a real pleasure to work with. They completed two projects for us - creating a new back yard semi-enclosed deck / living / cooking space, and refurbishing the exterior of our house to improve curb appeal and fix age-related weather issues. They're responsive, friendly, courteous, and do quality work - and I'd say this extends to their selection of sub-contractors, too.

Proform did a great job for us! We had a substantial remodel and they did an outstanding job and their communication was excellent throughout.

My husband and I hired Joey and Proform Construction to remodel our very old and outdated Seattle condominium. Even though you could probably consider our job "small" compared to the kinds of projects they usually take on, they treated us like we were as important as any other client they had and dedicated a lot of time and energy to educating us about the work before we started and throughout so that we always felt that we were making the best decisions possible. We had several friends who had nightmare stories to tell about their remodel projects and the difficulty dealing with their contractors. I can stay unequivocally that we never once encountered anything to give us pause, concern or make us wonder if this was going to get done. From the project management team (Gerry and Lincoln) to the work by the subcontractors he worked with, everything was done on time, on budget and we were never in the dark about where we were in the process. And, of course, the quality of the work was of the highest caliber! I cannot speak highly enough about the work Lincoln did with the trim, the fireplace and all the doors (especially the work he did figuring out a weird laundry room door situation) - you could tell that the smallest detail really mattered to him. We will definitely hire Proform again and we highly (highly) recommend them - they will get the work done and it will be beautiful!

If you want top quality work done then hire Proform. They took a blank wall and turned it in to the centerpiece of the house. Joey is very responsive during the project and happy to explain each stage in detail. We were lucky enough to have Jeff Parmenter as our lead carpenter who is a pleasure to work with. He is detail oriented and makes sure everything is up to the customers high standard. He deals with all of the suns to take the work off of the customers plate. Besides being a frat carpenter he’s also a great guy. Would recommend Proform to anyone.

I have worked closely with Proform on a number of projects over the last almost 10 years. Joey, the owner, has lent his eye and expert opinion to every project. I highly recommend Proform Construction for any construction project, particularly high-end residential remodeling. We worked primarily with Joey (owner and project manager) and Lincoln (lead carpenter). They were both great to work with - friendly, amazingly talented, and extremely dedicated to us and our project. They were focused on creating a high quality home and went above and beyond throughout out the project to ensure that our needs were met. From the time we had our initial consultation in February 2017 to final project completion in September 2018, Joey and Lincoln were with us every step of the way, and felt more like friends throughout the project. Our project was a “to the studs” interior and exterior remodel of a 5000sf, 1982 NW Seattle house with a phenomenal water view. We purchased the house knowing we would do some work to it, but one thing led to another, and we ended up gutting the house. The full scope of work of our project included: * Reconfigure first floor to relocate kitchen to center of house / optimize view, add large folding exterior La Cantina doors, add laundry/mud room * High-end redesign of kitchen (Miele / Sub-Zero / True appliances) * Reconfigure second floor master suite and add a second laundry room upstairs * Addition of two wet bars (wine fridge / beverage center / freezer / ice maker) * Opening up interior stairwell from basement to second floor * Replacement of all windows, doors, and garage doors * Replacement of all exterior siding, gutters, and painting * Replacement of two exterior decks and stairs * Replacement of all interior systems (electrical, plumbing, gas, mechanical) * Full cosmetic refinish of entire house including replacement of drywall, tile, hardwood flooring, fixtures, paint, etc (i.e. “to the studs”), installation of gas fireplaces The things I appreciated most about working with Proform included: * Good people - both Joey and Lincoln were friendly, collaborative, and honest. I looked forward to our weekly project meetings in part because of how well we got along with them. Both acted with an extremely high degree of integrity throughout the project * Quality of work - Joey and Lincoln are dedicated to their craft, and throughout the entire process, it was clear that everyone was skilled at what they did, had excellent attention to detail, and were obsessed with creating a beautiful home. Our architect (Matthew at Board and Vellum) commented frequently throughout the project how much they appreciated Proform’s attention to detail and unwillingness to cut corners, things that didn’t always happen with other contractors they worked with * Client Obsession - Joey and Lincoln would often bring up ideas or concerns they saw with a chosen approach, which was much appreciated, but they were above and beyond most interested in ensuring that our needs were met, not theirs * Subcontractor selection - there were probably over twenty subcontractors that were involved with various aspects of the project, some for weeks at a time. As a result, we got to spend a good amount of time with their subs, and the quality of their work was also stellar, and the people who were on site were generally nice and pleasant to deal with. When the occasional issue with a subcontractor arose, Joey was on top of things and quick to deal with it * Communication and Project Management - there were many small and large decisions and the inevitable hiccups along the project that Joey and Lincoln were great at navigating. They were obsessed with keeping the project moving smoothly to avoid unnecessary delays or construction issues The end result is an amazingly beautiful house that is the envy of our friends and family who have visited, and one that we hope to raise our family in for the next 20 years. We’d highly recommend Proform to any of our friends who are doing any type of house construction or remodeling, particularly high-end residential remodeling.

Proform Construction did an amazing job on the remodel of our home. They replaced the siding on our house, installed wood soffits, and replaced a lot of pre-existing dry rot under the old siding. Proform showed up on time, the job site was always very clean, and the communication was very clear throughout. They also helped us get a roofer, and new gutters. I would suggest Proform to anyone that needs work done on their house, cannot thank them enough.

It is my pleasure to recommend Proform construction for our recently completed deck, patio, drainage and concrete project. We are thrilled with the results, exceptional quality and appearance - we will enjoy his work for many years to come. Because we live on a slope, the logistics were challenging and probably much harder than most projects of this nature. Proform was on time and at budget. Joey's professionalism was noteworthy. Without hesitation, I highly recommend Joey and his team. Total pros, terrific vision and attention to detail, plus their approach to project management kept the stress that comes with construction at bay. Our lead, Jasun, was fantastic. He sat down with us weekly to review the project and guide us through the decision-making process. We highly valued his communication skills. Not to forget — they understood that this is our home and treated it with the utmost respect (i.e. they cleaned the job site daily and worked around our schedules). We're thrilled with the final product — a master bath that easily ranks as the nicest we've ever owned along with custom updates to two fireplace surrounds that brought both into the 21st century.
