Our discerning client wanted to completely renovate their Kosher Kitchen in the heart of Great Neck Village but at the same time retain the exact foot print as their old kitchen and also to keep all the entry points in to this space. After applying and successfully gaining the approval of the Building Dept. We embarked on the design process in which we turn to our Kitchen Distributors A-Direct for design guidance. As always Ted was a great asset and our client were very excited to finalize their new layout and to begin the construction. As part of our HOMEREDI kitchen Renovation service offering we extended a discounted contractor pricing for the purchase of all of the ingredients used in this recipe including the cost of cabinets, counter-tops and appliances. The team work with A-Direct worked very seamlessly and hence we were able to deliver our clients kitchen renovation in record time. Chuck Dana's Photography

In the late 1950s, the Alcoa aluminum company embarked on an effort to develop and mass-produce mid-century aluminum ranch-style houses designed by Charles Goodman. This home in Alexandria is one of only a handful remaining of the original 24 built nationwide.
Our client tasked us with conceiving a solution that was as much a restoration as a renovation. In addition to a complete renovation of the original 2,100 sq ft home, we added a 150 sq ft primary bathroom within the existing footprint and a 1,000 sq ft open porch to double the open living space.
This project was a finalist for the 2023 NAHB Remodelers Awards in the Entire Home Renovation under $500,000 category.

In the prestigious Beverly Hills project, we embarked on a comprehensive renovation that involved a complete gutting and transformation of the house. By removing support walls within the kitchen area, we successfully created a spacious and open kitchen layout, optimizing functionality and visual appeal. Additionally, our team undertook the complete remodeling of five bathrooms and a powder room, ensuring a seamless blend of luxury and functionality. The installation of custom-made wood windows and elegant engineered floors throughout the entire house added a touch of sophistication and cohesiveness to the overall design.

When this multi-generational family embarked on rebuilding their Palo Alto home, they had to rethink the entire design due to FEMA regulations. Located in a flood zone, the finished floor had to be raised 4 feet, necessitating a full demolition. This challenge became an opportunity to create a residence that better suited the family’s needs — with three bedrooms on the second floor and a ground floor in-law suite. Drawing references from the previous Eichler-inspired house, the new iteration features glass walls and expressed structure that recalls a midcentury design that is entirely modern. The great room opens onto the garden, where a raised terrace provides outdoor living space. Wraparound planters and tiered stairs ease the transition between levels, allowing the home to blend seamlessly into the neighborhood.
