This bathroom features SOLLiD Designer Series Frameless Metro cabinets in Cherry with custom niche and panel. The porcelain tile emulates limestone and ties in well with the granite countertops. The exterior door was finished to match the cherry colored cabinets. The barn door glass surround emphasizes the stacked tile in the shower and the LED lighting adds a designer element to the whole space. Our architect client really challenged us with the design they came up. It required some custom features like the niche and panel and some challenging installations with the cabinets, tile and lighting. The Trigon's splayed legs invoke classic mid century design and emulate Eames, Bertoia, Cherner, Saarinen and the rest of the modernist movement. This design manages to convey the verve, imagination and the ability to “think outside the box” of the iconic period.

The design elements include warm white perimeter cabinets, elegantly paired with a clear stain walnut island and coordinating shelves. The porcelain slab countertops were carefully chosen to emulate the luxurious appearance of marble without the high maintenance, catering perfectly to the needs of the vibrant young family. Infused with timeless elegance, brass plumbing fixtures, cabinet hardware, and lighting fixtures exude warmth and sophistication. Elevating the culinary experience, the clients opted for high-end Wolf appliances, featuring a range and speed oven, complemented by the sleek sophistication of a Miele dishwasher.

This homeowner - a huge fan of UT football - had seen this same mural that we had done inside of Hooters on Kingston Pike in Knoxville (huge UT football fan area), and wanted it for himself as part of his outdoor man cave, which is a huge outdoor space with multiple level decks and this grill and cooking area. He actually built a brick wall to emulate what he saw on the Hooters UT man mural and had me paint the same right onto the brick. Then he added rope lighting at the top and underneath the ledge below the mural, which really makes is stunning at night! (see previous pic)

Asian influences and a sophisticated color palate transform this modestly sized contemporary bathroom. An ebony stained Cherry vanity emulate the look of an antique Japanese black lacquer chest. The faux wood grain of the floor tile and linear glass tile in natural tones allude to grass mat floors and woven bamboo. Even the frame pattern in the shower suggests the design of a traditional Japanese shoji screen. Subtle details continue the them- brushed nickel faucets and the vessel sink are reminiscent of an old fashioned hand pump and wash basin.
