This playful kids’ room is full of color, pattern, and imagination. A hand-drawn cityscape and trolley wallpaper mural sets a whimsical backdrop, complemented by a window with a beige Roman shade. A lime green bean bag adds a cozy seating spot, while a bright triangular-patterned rug in pink, yellow, orange, blue, white, and gray energizes the floor. A white pedestal table with three bright orange chairs encourages creative play, paired with toy storage bins and an artsy ceiling light to complete this lively, functional, and fun-filled space. This custom home office was designed to inspire creativity while providing a highly functional workspace for daily productivity. Rich blue built-in cabinetry spans the entire wall, offering generous storage, open display shelving, and a striking architectural focal point that transforms the office into a destination rather than simply a place to work.
A bold Art Deco-inspired ceiling wallpaper introduces unexpected drama and personality, drawing the eye upward and creating a one-of-a-kind design statement. Warm white oak furnishings balance the saturated cabinetry, while brass hardware and carefully curated accessories add warmth, sophistication, and timeless appeal. Every shelf was intentionally styled to showcase books, artwork, collected objects, and meaningful personal pieces that reflect the homeowner's personality.
Designed to prove that workspaces can be both beautiful and functional, this office blends custom millwork, bold pattern, and thoughtful organization into a space that encourages focus, creativity, and inspiration.

Designed by Crespo Design Group, the space balances elegance and functionality with custom millwork, a rich walnut desk, tailored furnishings, and a curated palette of soft blush tones accented by a striking botanical wallpaper. The result is a home office that feels both refined and welcoming, encouraging creativity and productivity in equal measure.
Natural light pours through the dramatic arched window, highlighting the custom drapery, textured area rug, and carefully selected designer furnishings. A sculptural statement chandelier adds an artistic focal point overhead, while the mix of warm wood tones, luxurious fabrics, and bold wallcoverings creates a layered, timeless aesthetic. Every detail has been thoughtfully chosen to create a workspace that reflects the homeowner's personality while maintaining the sophistication of a luxury custom home.

Designed to inspire imagination, movement, and independence, this custom boys’ bedroom transforms everyday functionality into an adventurous and highly personalized retreat. Every inch of the room was thoughtfully designed to maximize play, storage, and comfort while maintaining a clean and cohesive aesthetic that can evolve with the child over time.
The custom built-in bed structure acts as the centerpiece of the room, combining sleeping, climbing, lounging, and storage into one integrated design. Inspired by the feeling of a treehouse or indoor fort, the elevated rope hammock introduces a playful architectural feature that encourages creativity, reading, and imaginative play while adding visual excitement overhead.
Integrated climbing bars and bold red accent details bring energy and personality to the otherwise warm and natural material palette. Custom birch millwork throughout the room provides extensive built-in storage for books, toys, and collectibles while helping the space remain organized and functional for daily life.
Deep storage drawers were seamlessly incorporated below the bed platform to maximize usable space without adding visual clutter. A built-in desk and shelving area near the window creates a dedicated zone for homework, reading, and creative projects while still allowing natural light and views to remain a central feature within the room.
The overall design balances fun and sophistication by pairing playful elements with clean lines, warm wood tones, layered textures, and thoughtfully integrated functionality — creating a bedroom that feels adventurous, calming, and built to grow alongside its young owner.

The workspace in Wolfgang and Breaker's room is divided by shelving that can be accessed from either side, creating a personal space for each and his studies.
With Breaker as the musician of the family, Robert and Cortney have given him the creative tools that he needs right at his finger tips. "Well, our kids are all very creative", Cortney explains, "and we are glad we were able to design spaces that opened up the possibility for them to be exactly who they are."

The steep grades were by far the biggest challenge to this project. In order to create a usable, safe and attractive space it was necessary to get creative with steps and boulders.

THEME The overall theme for this
space is a functional, family friendly
escape where time spent together
or alone is comfortable and exciting.
The integration of the work space,
clubhouse and family entertainment
area creates an environment that
brings the whole family together in
projects, recreation and relaxation.
Each element works harmoniously
together blending the creative and
functional into the perfect family
escape.
FOCUS The two-story clubhouse is
the focal point of the large space and
physically separates but blends the two
distinct rooms. The clubhouse has an
upper level loft overlooking the main
room and a lower enclosed space with
windows looking out into the playroom
and work room. There was a financial
focus for this creative space and the
use of many Ikea products helped to
keep the fabrication and build costs
within budget.
STORAGE Storage is abundant for this
family on the walls, in the cabinets and
even in the floor. The massive built in
cabinets are home to the television
and gaming consoles and the custom
designed peg walls create additional
shelving that can be continually
transformed to accommodate new or
shifting passions. The raised floor is
the base for the clubhouse and fort
but when pulled up, the flush mounted
floor pieces reveal large open storage
perfect for toys to be brushed into
hiding.
GROWTH The entire space is designed
to be fun and you never outgrow
fun. The clubhouse and loft will be a
focus for these boys for years and the
media area will draw the family to
this space whether they are watching
their favorite animated movie or
newest adventure series. The adjoining
workroom provides the perfect arts and
crafts area with moving storage table
and will be well suited for homework
and science fair projects.
SAFETY The desire to climb, jump,
run, and swing is encouraged in this
great space and the attention to detail
ensures that they will be safe. From
the strong cargo netting enclosing
the upper level of the clubhouse to
the added care taken with the lumber
to ensure a soft clean feel without
splintering and the extra wide borders
in the flush mounted floor storage, this
space is designed to provide this family
with a fun and safe space.

A children's playroom should be a fun and inviting space that encourages play, creativity, and imagination. Bright colors, soft textures, and plenty of toys and games can help create an exciting and comfortable environment. Storage space is also important to keep the room organized and clutter-free. Consider adding a reading nook, art station, or dress-up area to inspire a range of activities. Safety should always be a top priority, so be sure to choose age-appropriate toys and furniture and keep the room free of hazards. Overall, a well-designed playroom can provide hours of entertainment and fun for children of all ages.

THEME This room is dedicated to supporting and encouraging the young artist in art and music. From the hand-painted instruments decorating the music corner to
the dedicated foldaway art table, every space is tailored to the creative spirit, offering a place to be inspired, a nook to relax or a corner to practice. This environment
radiates energy from the ground up, showering the room in natural, vibrant color.
FOCUS A majestic, floor-to-ceiling tree anchors the space, boldly transporting the beauty of nature into the house--along with the fun of swinging from a tree branch,
pitching a tent or reading under the beautiful canopy. The tree shares pride of place with a unique, retroinspired
room divider housing a colorful padded nook perfect for
reading, watching television or just relaxing.
STORAGE Multiple storage options are integrated to accommodate the family’s eclectic interests and
varied needs. From hidden cabinets in the floor to movable shelves and storage bins, there is room
for everything. The two wardrobes provide generous storage capacity without taking up valuable floor
space, and readily open up to sweep toys out of sight. The myWall® panels accommodate various shelving options and bins that can all be repositioned as needed. Additional storage and display options are strategically
provided around the room to store sheet music or display art projects on any of three magnetic panels.
GROWTH While the young artist experiments with media or music, he can also adapt this space to complement his experiences. The myWall® panels promote easy transformation and expansion, offer unlimited options, and keep shelving at an optimum height as he grows. All the furniture rolls on casters so the room can sustain the
action during a play date or be completely re-imagined if the family wants a makeover.
SAFETY The elements in this large open space are all designed to enfold a young boy in a playful, creative and safe place. The modular components on the myWall® panels are all locked securely in place no matter what they store. The custom drop-down table includes two safety latches to prevent unintentional opening. The floor drop doors are all equipped with slow glide closing hinges so no fingers will be trapped.
