A bulky glass block wall and dark tile made the space feel closed off and dated. The old materials were removed to the studs, and new plumbing was added for a rain shower, handheld fixture, and diverter for better comfort. Custom-built shower, featuring a dry-off area and recessed wall niche for convenience, was installed. Durable waterproofing and backer board were added to prepare the space for new tile installation. The new shower features Wave Blanco 13x24 Matte tile, installed in a horizontal straight stack pattern with Arctic White grout and Schluter Jolly Bright White trim. On the accent wall, Anthology Euphoria Crave Serenity Glass tile adds depth and subtle texture, tying the design together beautifully. For the floor, Walker Zanger Continuum Grey 2x2 Anti-Slip mosaic tile provides both safety and modern appeal. A brushed nickel tile-in drain by Ebbe Legacy complements the new Delta Pivotal fixtures in Lumicoat Stainless, creating a sleek, cohesive finish throughout. The existing vanity, toilet, flooring, and block window were kept in place to balance function and budget. The updated frameless glass enclosure without a door gives the shower a spacious, spa-like feel while maintaining easy access. This remodel completely transformed David’s bathroom from dark and dated to bright, refined, and inviting. Successful Master Bathroom Shower Surround Completed! The challenge was to incorporate the master bath shower with the existing decor in this beautiful rustic mountain home. Existing exterior rock and a river rock fireplace and tub surround were the starting point for the choice of materials. The existing rock colors were grays with hints of blue undertones. Pebble mosaics with the same color range were the perfect answer. The large format gray porcelain tiles look like natural stone with their realistic white veining. The results were stunning and create a seamless feeling withing the existing decor. This shower provides a brand new, updated, spacious space for the new home owners. We were lucky enough to have the opportunity to help an older couple in our local community. They approached us with a project that they thought would be impossible. Turn a 6x6 first floor pantry into a fully functioning bathroom. Normally this space limitation would not be a problem but the plumbing presented a difficulty that already scared away 2 other contractors. We were able to overcome this obstacle with the help of our experienced staff who keep up to date on the newest devices and products in the remodeling industry. We had a very enjoyable experience designing and remodeling this room. Even with the small space limitations we believe we came up with a very unique and rustic feel for their 1890's farm house. I must end on all the custom wood work that our employees made for this project. From the custom, two-sided, door to the little, wooden, wall shelf we made all of the wooden pieces you see in this project and most of them were unique creations specifically for this job.
