The entire space is home to dozens of custom paintings by local artists and master-crafted wood works and built in cabinetry. The reception area is complimented with a 55” custom designed Art Screen TV with retractable art that rolls up into a motorized casing to reveal a 4K TV screen. The additional spaces show beautifully, with a modern family room, a sophisticated entertainment lounge, and fully functional, stocked wet bar. An acoustically treated 2-Channel listening room houses the finest in McIntosh audio equipment complete with a turntable. This room was designed for vinyl record or streaming music for ‘audiophile enthusiasts.’ The DeVance 18 seat movie theater boasts a state-of-the-art perforated ten foot screen, JBL Synthesis 7.1 surround sound system and crystal clear Runco projection system. Initially built as a new garage for a car enthusiast, this project evolved into a car collection showroom, guesthouse and entertaining space. We were challenged with carrying many of the traditional elements from the main house into our design while making this space more contemporary. The result feels eclectic, collected, and distinct. Inspired by the interiors of our client’s cars, we created a custom sectional featuring a pearlized cobalt leather. For interest, we had martini chairs upholstered in Pierre Frey fabric and used Phillip Jeffries wallcoverings throughout. To turn the office into a hospitable room for guests, we installed a custom murphy bed with cabinetry storage on either side and treated it with molding for a built-in look.

The Sawgrass also features genuine African Water Buffalo hide for its tough and long-lasting properties, along with its supple look and feel. To top if off, Louisville Golf hickory shafts whipped onto persimmon heads will be appreciated by the true golf enthusiast. Our first Sawgrass comes in at 51 3/4" high by 35" wide by 7 3/8" deep making this piece indeed, grand. Your Sawgrass, however, can be made to your exact specifications and finish.

The client approached us as he had a property that benefited from an elevated position and water views over the Georges River. The current home needed a change to the layout, additional bedrooms and living spaces that captured the magnificent views and catering for their retirement. The existing property had a garage, rumpus room and two terrace’s within the front setback along the boundary which needed to remain as part of the proposal as it would not be permissible to reinstate them under the current planning rules. The floor plan of the development is meticulous in providing for the needs of the client. As seniors in their 70’s we were keen to provide easy access on a steep sloping block. The driveway, lift and elevation of the main floor level adjacent to the rear garden has achieved this brilliantly. Enjoyment of the stunning views over the river was of paramount importance and this has been elegantly achieved. There are great views from all three terraces, the entire upper floor, including the master bedroom, the lift, the rear patio and rear garden. The highlight of this home, however, is the enthusiastic manner which, both the client and designer approached the picturesque views. Large double glazed windows and doors optimally located provide wonderful thermal efficiency and a seamless connection between indoors and outdoors whilst ensuring privacy from neighbouring sites. The light and airy feeling in this space is complemented with the natural coastal finishes prevalent throughout the home.

This kitchen is a part of a new construction of a home on a horse farm. The homeowner is a horse enthusiast and wanted the new home to look and feel like a modern farm house. Much of the wood features are meant to recall the look of a barn, even the wood used on the staircase is reclaimed wood used from the original barn that was on the property.
