Revamping the laundry room brings a blend of functionality and style to an often-overlooked space. Upgrading appliances to energy-efficient models enhances efficiency while minimizing environmental impact.
Custom cabinetry and shelving solutions maximize storage for detergents, cleaning supplies, and laundry essentials, promoting an organized and clutter-free environment. Consideration of ergonomic design, such as a folding counter or ironing station, streamlines tasks and adds a touch of convenience.
Thoughtful lighting choices, perhaps with LED fixtures or natural light sources, contribute to a bright and inviting atmosphere. Flooring upgrades for durability, such as water-resistant tiles or easy-to-clean materials, can withstand the demands of laundry tasks.
Ultimately, a remodeled laundry room not only elevates its practical functionality but also transforms it into a well-designed, efficient space that makes the often-dreaded chore of laundry a more pleasant experience.

There are surprises behind every door in this beautiful bootility. Rooms like this can be designed to house a range of storage solutions and bulky appliances that usually take up a considerable amount of space in the kitchen. Moving large appliances to a dedicated full-height cabinet allows you to hide them out of sight when not in use. Stacking them vertically also frees up valuable floor space and makes it easier for you to load washing.

Eichler in Marinwood - In conjunction to the porous programmatic kitchen block as a connective element, the walls along the main corridor add to the sense of bringing outside in. The fin wall adjacent to the entry has been detailed to have the siding slip past the glass, while the living, kitchen and dining room are all connected by a walnut veneer feature wall running the length of the house. This wall also echoes the lush surroundings of lucas valley as well as the original mahogany plywood panels used within eichlers.

The homeowners loved the location of their small Cape Cod home, but they didn't love its limited interior space. A 10' addition along the back of the home and a brand new 2nd story gave them just the space they needed. With a classy monotone exterior and a welcoming front porch, this remodel is a refined example of a transitional style home.

Careful consideration of the design and construction of each desired feature was essential in order to accommodate all the uses of this room. The best place for the desk is in front of the window. The eastern exposure lets in maximum sunlight without heating the room TOO much, while the the water and boats offer a relaxing view to rest the eyes while working. A custom desk was essential in this situation.

The soft-close trash can pull-out is an essential addition to any kitchen upgrade or remodel. These pull-outs help you easily separate your trash and recycling or food compost. The seal created when the pull-out is in the "closed" position easily hides any unwanted smells.

In considerable contrast to predominately neo-traditional neighboring residences employing 6 or more exterior materials in willy nilly fashion, Hillside's facades present a minimalist palette of stone, wood and glass which, while welcoming and accessible, reinforces the essential design precept of "organically" blending construction into the natural contours of the site,

Situated in the summer destination city of Saratoga Springs, New York this 2,600 square foot guest house provides the
owners with the ability to entertain and accommodate seasonal guests overnight. On a site first believed to be unbuildable, careful structural and architectural integration allowed the guest house to emerge from this previously vacant hillside, mediating a twenty-five foot grade change.
The design of the guest house is intended to reflect the massing
and character of the existing 1875 Victorian main residence, while a new pool and shared landscape further integrate the two structures. Considerable effort was made to
strip layers of ornamentation until the essential elements that define the building are expressed, with structure and natural
materials exposed.
