Inspiration for an eclectic living room remodel in Portland

Waverly Ave. - On the 9ine Collection Waverly Ave. exhibits the beauty and uniqueness celebrated of color variation. It is a mix of raw umber, dark grays and taupe, and a wire brushed look that lends extra contrast to the wood grains. This floor is finished with Nature GARD, our protective hard wax oil finish that enhances the natural highlights of the wood’s colors.

This gorgeous master bedroom exhibits a soft but powerful design. Traditional antique furnishings mixed with soft, vibrant yellows and distressed golds create a balance between warm and energetic. The living room in a townhouse in central den Haag exhibits an eclectic mix, combining a contemporary Italian, classic French and American mid-Century modern furnishings in a subdued envelope of color producing an atmosphere of spare elegance and timeless luxury. Walls were painted Farrow & Ball Cornforth White, a pale and chalky gray, to compliment the 1940's French armchairs covered in gray Belgian linen.

Bedroom - eclectic bedroom idea in New York

We placed an electric fireplace to create a focal point between the living room and the dining room. The niche in the foyer was upholstered in red velvet to serve as a throne to our princess, exhibiting a conceptual art piece as well. The walls were originally textured; we plastered them to add a clean looking smooth touch. We added LED lighting on the stairway to top off our client’s clamorous glitzy vogue.

Inspiration for an eclectic home design remodel in Denver

Originally built in 1929 and designed by famed architect Albert Farr who was responsible for the Wolf House that was built for Jack London in Glen Ellen, this building has always had tremendous historical significance. In keeping with tradition, the new design incorporates intricate plaster crown moulding details throughout with a splash of contemporary finishes lining the corridors. From venetian plaster finishes to German engineered wood flooring this house exhibits a delightful mix of traditional and contemporary styles. Many of the rooms contain reclaimed wood paneling, discretely faux-finished Trufig outlets and a completely integrated Savant Home Automation system. Equipped with radiant flooring and forced air-conditioning on the upper floors as well as a full fitness, sauna and spa recreation center at the basement level, this home truly contains all the amenities of modern-day living. The primary suite area is outfitted with floor to ceiling Calacatta stone with an uninterrupted view of the Golden Gate bridge from the bathtub. This building is a truly iconic and revitalized space.

This contemporary stairwell features an authentic street banner used to promote an exhibit at the Art Institute of Chicago, and highlights an idea for adorning long, tall wall spaces. The light hardwood floors bring out the colors of Matisses' "Apples" painting showcased on the vinyl banner. Brushed metal railings complete the sleek, clean look of the staircase.

Named after a surfing beach off the coast of São Paulo, Carlos Motta’s "Asturias" line has been a hit in Brazil and abroad for its sharp and rustic appeal for the last decade. By utilizing reclaimed wood and simple lines, that require minimal machine cuts, Motta designed the "Asturias" pieces to have the least environmental impact possible. Suitable for outdoor or indoor settings, the "Asturias" line has been exhibited in Milan, at the Saint-Etienne International Design Biennial and won the Planeta Casa prize in 2003 for its sustainable approach.
