Premonition by Jon Allen - JAC 195 The Jon Allen Collection is an exclusive, hand-selected group of my most personal work to date. Each piece is hand-painted on aluminum. My art itself and my chosen medium, aluminum, are blissfully married. You may not think of the word organic when you hear the word metal, but this is some of my most organic art and that’s simply because metal allows my work to achieve true sentience. Aluminum’s naturally reflective nature enables each color, shape, and stroke to reach its full potential. A new aspect of the painting will reveal itself to you as it basks in the light that surrounds, evades, or envelops it in that moment. When you see the piece from different angles, you will appreciate how vibrant, dynamic, and environmentally influenced these pieces are. What you may see and feel by morning is not what you’ll see or feel by dusk and in many ways, and as such I feel these pieces capture the ever-ebbing and complex nature of human emotion and perception. Some of these pieces are truly abstract while others are modern takes on traditional landscapes, marine life, and portraits. I hope you enjoy them a fraction of how much I enjoyed creating them. The frame is strong and made with steel while the seat features cushioned foam for added comfort; plus, the back and loose cushions are made with fibersilk so you can gain even more softness when relaxing. You’ll improve your home’s decor because the Kangou can come upholstered in a wide range of colored and patterned fabrics, with more than 600 different types of fabrics to choose from, including leather. The Kangou rocking armchair by Famaliving is also available with a swivel base design so you can comfortably swivel from direction to another without having to get up.

This Master Bathroom in Norfolk received a complete gut, expansion and renovation. Through our Design Build process these homeowners worked with in-house designer Jason Hoffman to create their dream master bathroom retreat. When designing, Jason was able to offer ideas on how to gain square footage, ultimately adding a walk-in shower. Complete with a custom double vanity and beautiful tile work by Marshall Tile & Marble Company, this has been one of our favorite transformations to date. See the before and after photos below as well as some 3D renderings approved by the homeowners prior to construction. Our team both designs the renovation AND performs the work. Our talented carpentry crew and trusted subcontractors perfectly executed a design on paper to a well laid out, oasis retreat.
