This is a fun, happy, cheerful room for my client's Grandchildren. This room was designed and decorated for a little boy and a little girl to enjoy when they come to visit. There is a extremely comfortable glider rocker in the corner for the adults to sit in and rock the children. They will enjoy many pleasurable hours reading to the youngsters in that chair too!

We designed a custom dining table to seat 10-12 for this open concept living space. The homeowners wanted a unique piece for this central room to accommodate large dinner parties. Combined with custom drapery, sculptural yet extremely comfortable chairs and a durable area rug, this is a beautiful space that will last for decades.

We were delighted to find out a previous client of ours was expecting another baby! We were tasked to design a nursery that was calming, masculine and playful. We incorporated a curated gallery wall, ceiling mural and LED baby name sign that cannot be forgotten! Within this small space, we had to include a crib, rocking chair, changing table and daybed. We were focused on making it functional for not only the baby but also for the parents. The fur rug is not only extremely comfortable, but also machine washable - that's a win-win! The layered jute rug underneath creates visual interest and texture. The striped ottoman, black daybed and leather drawer pulls bring the masculinity to the room. We had a custom LED baby name sign made for over the crib, which can be dimmed to any brightness and is safe for children (unlike neon). Baby Andres was born on May 11th. 2020.

According to Laura Mackall, they did not turn the heat on all winter, and the inside temperatures stayed at around 70 degrees inspite of record-low temperatures in New York City this past winter. The room needed some life, yet be a space where this busy single mother and Urgent Care physician could get some much needed rest and relaxation. A deep, grey-purple on the walls set the stage, and fabrics in variants of heathered purple, plum, pinks and roses was chosen for the bedding. Bright, mustard yellow added some excitement to the muted tones. The custom bedding creates an environment of luxury as well as extreme comfort. The two swivel chairs were updated with heathered purple velvet seat cushions piped in mustard yellow. The carpet was replaced with wood-look luxury vinyl plank—a must for families with kids and dogs. Because the client works many nights, being able to sleep during the day is a must. The ho-hum white blinds were replaced with floor to ceiling blackout drapery in embroidered linen on contemporary traverse rods. Her existing furniture, large and heavy and dark-stained, was painted white with a grey stain and distressed heavily. This gave the furniture new life as shabby chic! Additional lighting, updated fixtures, and carefully curated accessories round out this vibrant yet soothing space.

The sectional from Ethan Allen is upholstered in a kid-friendly fabric, and is extremely comfortable! The window treatments are a faux bamboo that let in plenty of light, while providing this busy family with privacy in the evening.

Having a large open space we chose Damasco sofas, an amazing solution for reading with an essential but attractive design, combined with the Charlotte armchair, extremely comfortable and elegant, for the relaxation area; Viktor sofas for a touch of vintage beauty selected together with Godard Wood armchairs. The sofa's placement offers a perfect way to enjoy the space. To complete the whole, the iconic Juno coffee table in concrete shaped to create vertical pleats that are recollection by the details present on some walls inside the space.
