Factor Design BuildThis 1912 traditional style house sits on the edge of Cheesman Park with four levels that needed updating to better suit the young family’s needs.
A custom wine room was constructed on the lower level to accommodate an area for entertaining guests. The main level was divided into a smaller family room area with a double door opening into the formal living room. The kitchen and butler’s pantry were combined and remodeled for better function.
The second level master bathroom was relocated and created out of an adjacent bedroom, incorporating an existing fireplace and Juliet balcony that looks out to the park.
A new staircase was constructed on the third level as a continuation of the grand staircase in the center of the house. A gathering and play space opens off the stairs and connects to the third-floor deck. A Jill & Jill bathroom remodel was constructed between the girls’ rooms.
Factor Design BuildThis home in Greenwood Village was in need of an updated kitchen with more cabinet space and natural lighting. The custom-built dark beams in the ceiling are complemented with white cabinets and large windows allowing for great natural light. The planter area behind the intricate copper sink sits above a drain for easy watering. The plants are also in a great location to soak up the Colorado sun! The lighted cabinets also draw attention to the family’s precious collections.
Other updates included the living room and adjacent sitting area. We created a custom bookshelf to match the ceiling beams, allowing the family more room to display books and keepsakes. The sitting area included a one-of-a-kind, handmade mosaic artwork that our team installed above the new fireplace.

Factor Design BuildThis home already had a very warm, transitional environment, which provided the design team with ample opportunities to add in elegant textures and materials to the remodel areas. These clients already had a great eye for design, so the remodel of the master suite, main floor 1/2 bath, basement dry bar, and a new deck off of their living room made for a collaborative and fun experience. We incorporated natural materials and textures with woods, a lime wash texture on the primary suite walls, and many earth tones to let the other design elements pop, such as lighting, tile, and furniture that these awesome clients picked out. Altogether,the remodel lent the home a more natural feel that still transitioned gracefully with the rest of the home.

Factor Design BuildLocated in Denver’s Hilltop area, the clients were in need of an updated kitchen and master bathroom. The goal was to brighten the rooms with fresh paints, avoiding wood tones. The clients wanted to keep the cherry wood island top in the kitchen, so it was important to incorporate it into the new kitchen design. The kitchen was designed with custom cabinetry stacked to the ceiling, marble backsplash, and marble countertops using macaubas quartzite. Other features of the kitchen included an updated backsplash with a custom drywall range hood. The master bathroom was completely gutted and updated with hexagon tiles and a freestanding tub.
