CLOSE-UP VIEW This master bath makeover starts with bare walls that have been floated out smooth over the sheetrock. Then we hand applied a beautiful custom tinted, soft grey Venetian plaster. After two coats of plaster, the walls were waxed and buffed. This process seals the plaster, leaving a long-lasting finish. The finished product is subtle and undeniably beautiful! I’ve included a close-up view of the finish below.

The design effort for any window and door project is complemented by the finish hardware. Consistency between the design and finish of the hardware in relation to the doors and windows is an opportunity to express the design values for the project. We offer, as a standard, levers and knobs from the Rocky Mountain Hardware or Sun Valley Bronze. For the Fletcher home we installed our new PC6/1 Single Basket, PC6/4 Double Basket, and PC4/1 Single Twist balusters in our Classic Black coating. We also replaced the painted newel posts with Oak 4500 series newel posts and replaced the 6010 Oak handrail on the right side of the stairs. We then installed a "Rake" 4212 newel post under the handrail for a cleaner, uninterrupted handrail all the way up to the top of the stairs. To finish we installed new MDF shoe rail and re-spaced the balusters to IRC Code requirements.
