Instead of clear-cutting a lawn area in the upper part of the yard, above the grade of the house, we sensitively left a fringe of trees (some with perfect spacing for hammocks!), engineered and shaped the soil for rain-water capturing, and buried power lines for a clean finish. The site is unirrigated and planted with a fescue mix for shade.

This vegetable garden was created on a small hillside with the use of retaining walls to level a portion of the slope. Integrating this garden space into the sloping portion of the back yard kept the level areas of lawn open for easy use as “play” space for the entire family. The flowering tree in the back ground is a tree lilac (Syringa reticulata 'Ivory Silk').

This mosaic wall art features two dogs playing around by a path where we can see two signs giving directions to where the path leads. This wall art is handmade from marble mosaic and can be placed indoors and outdoors.

A gorgeous home addition, perfect for empty nesters who love an elegant vibe that is cozy and sophisticated. This home was an open concept that played with blurring the lines of diverse material changes and a unique color palette inspired by color theory. Keeping the visual field calming yet intriguing was challenging, but every area create picturesque views from formal dining, to the breakfast nook, and double ceiling vaulted ceiling highlighted by a stone fireplace.
