Kitchen Design ConceptsThis home was a complete gut, so it got a major face-lift in each room. In the powder and hall baths, we decided to try to make a huge impact in these smaller spaces, and so guests get a sense of "wow" when they need to wash up!
Powder Bath:
The freestanding sink basin is from Stone Forest, Harbor Basin with Carrara Marble and the console base is Palmer Industries Jamestown in satin brass with a glass shelf. The faucet is from Newport Brass and is their wall mount Jacobean in satin brass. With the small space, we installed the Toto Eco Supreme One-Piece round bowl, which was a huge floor space saver. Accessories are from the Newport Brass Aylesbury collection.
Hall Bath:
The vanity and floating shelves are from WW Woods Shiloh Cabinetry, Poplar wood with their Cadet stain which is a gorgeous blue-hued gray. Plumbing products - the faucet and shower fixtures - are from the Brizo Rook collection in chrome, with accessories to match. The commode is a Toto Drake II 2-piece. Toto was also used for the sink, which sits in a Caesarstone Pure White quartz countertop.

Wellborn Cabinet, Inc.Doing laundry can be tedious, mundane and a little stressful but in this space, doing laundry can be more satisfying with the pets around. Wellborn’s cabinetry was used throughout this design, with the Saybrook door style in Maple and complete in the newly launched Gray Mist with a Granite glaze.

Ann Lowengart InteriorsMarble slabs on both the floor and shower walls take this sumptuous all-white bathroom to the next level. The existing peek-a-boo window frames the San Francisco bay view. The custom built-in cabinetry with a pretty vanity and ample mirrors allow for perfect makeup application. The bespoke fixtures complete the look.

Advanced Woodwork, INC.this is a wood base we built out of accoya wood. The tub actually goes thru it and sits on the concrete floor. We had to custom scribe the wood to the contour of the tub which was challenging because it is oblong, and it tapers.
Metropolis Drafting and Construction IncCreation of a new master bathroom, kids’ bathroom, toilet room and a WIC from a mid. size bathroom was a challenge but the results were amazing.
The master bathroom has a huge 5.5'x6' shower with his/hers shower heads.
The main wall of the shower is made from 2 book matched porcelain slabs, the rest of the walls are made from Thasos marble tile and the floors are slate stone.
The vanity is a double sink custom made with distress wood stain finish and its almost 10' long.
The vanity countertop and backsplash are made from the same porcelain slab that was used on the shower wall.
The two pocket doors on the opposite wall from the vanity hide the WIC and the water closet where a $6k toilet/bidet unit is warmed up and ready for her owner at any given moment.
Notice also the huge 100" mirror with built-in LED light, it is a great tool to make the relatively narrow bathroom to look twice its size.

We fitted this awkwardly shaped eating area with banquette seating, which increased the space from four dining spots to 6. The table is transitional in style, white with a copper top, and contrasts nicely with the black and white houndstooth cushion. The space is finished out with an iron orb pendant.

LABLstudioA West Village Bachelor pad bedroom, featuring a hand-painted geometric design that highlights the pre-war features of the space, like the picture moldings. Additionally, because the client wanted both a work space and a place to put his TV (the pre-war wall could not hold a wall mounted tv!), we designed a custom desk/console piece out of reclaimed wood and metal hairpin legs that served both purposes, and fit the space perfectly.
