Pool - tropical backyard stamped concrete and custom-shaped pool idea in Miami

Great room with tall ceilings, curved archways, and exposed beams set the mediterranean style base for the home but furnishings are traditional with a colorful twist of blue, white and touches of orange. The opposite wall in the living room features a wet bar that includes two full-sized wine refrigerators, sink, storage cabinets, and shelving, as well as plenty of open floor space to entertain. The tall dark blue painted cabinetry helps to visually balance the room, as a large, bold design element opposite the fireplace wall. The inlaid brass detail on the cabinet doors adds a touch of glamour to this more formal space. The focal point of the wet bar is the illuminated book-matched marble backsplash with custom floating brass and glass shelves.

The Master Bedroom continues the theme of cool and warm, this time using all whites and neutrals and mixing in even more natural elements like seagrass, rattan, and greenery. The showstopper is the stained wood ceiling with an intricate yet modern geometric pattern. The master has retractable glass doors separating it and its private lanai.

Audubon prints hang in the living room flanked by curved archways and bamboo chairs. This project was featured in House Beautiful & Florida Design. Interior Design & Styling by Summer Thornton. Images by Brantley Photography
