Sedums are a must have for late season color , the fleshy succulent growth works well in sunny , dry conditions. A variance of color in the pink-rose spectrum adds color to the garden in late summer -fall. They love to be pruned early in May or June to fill out and maintain their stamina without staking. Winter interest is a plus.

Farmer-florist Mary Schaefbauer of Sonnenblume Flowers in Brainerd, Minn., used flowers from her fields as well as foraged greenery to design this whimsical scene. Florals include: Rudbeckia, zinnia, marigold, cosmos, snapdragon, bunny tail grass; and goldenrod, tansy, jerusalem artichoke from the ditches and meadows.

The ‘Villa Blanca’ kitchen now has the clean, modern and homey feeling our clients wanted for this space. Minimal accessories on the countertops keeps the kitchen from feeling cluttered. Wood cutting boards with suede straps warm up the cool marble countertops and add a fun detail to the classic kitchen.
