This beautiful custom designed kitchen project in Bonita San Diego was build in our in-house carpentry shop and installed by professional team following and accustomed to all customer's requests/desires.

Hawaiian mango locally sourced for the stair treads, sanded so its buttery smooth and warm on your feet. This is a storage staircase with closet and bookshelf that faces the seating area. no space is waisted.
I love working with clients that have ideas that I have been waiting to bring to life. All of the owner requests were things I had been wanting to try in an Oasis model. The table and seating area in the circle window bump out that normally had a bar spanning the window; the round tub with the rounded tiled wall instead of a typical angled corner shower; an extended loft making a big semi circle window possible that follows the already curved roof. These were all ideas that I just loved and was happy to figure out. I love how different each unit can turn out to fit someones personality.
The Oasis model is known for its giant round window and shower bump-out as well as 3 roof sections (one of which is curved). The Oasis is built on an 8x24' trailer. We build these tiny homes on the Big Island of Hawaii and ship them throughout the Hawaiian Islands.

Our latest redesign of this home’s main level seamlessly blends architectural elegance with contemporary comfort. The foyer now makes a striking first impression, featuring refined wall molding, a fresh coat of paint, and a custom veneer bench seat. A breathtaking chandelier in polished nickel and crystal serves as the focal point, adding a layer of timeless sophistication. Moving into the family room, we introduced a textured Manila hemp wallpaper on the ceiling, evoking the soft movement of clouds. The fireplace was refaced in quartz while the existing mantel was carefully reapplied per the client’s request. A 14-foot curved performance fabric sofa, complemented by custom velvet throw pillows, sets the stage for a welcoming yet luxurious space. To enhance the room’s flow, we incorporated a 10-foot diameter rug that follows the sofa’s elegant curve, along with new drapery, swivel chairs, and carefully selected occasional tables.
Storage and smart functionality were key in this redesign. Custom cabinetry flanking the fireplace provides ample storage while floating shelves above, equipped with smart home-enabled LED strip lighting, showcase thoughtfully curated accessories. In the powder room, we introduced an ebony veneer push-to-open custom vanity topped with a striking Calacatta Viola marble sink. A custom mirror and premium light fixtures accentuate the rich new paint colors, elevating this small yet impactful space. The result is a refined, harmonious interior that reflects both the home’s architecture and the client’s desire for warmth and sophistication.

Five stars isn’t enough! Our project was to reconfigure and update the main floor of a house we recently purchased that was built in 1961. We wanted to maintain some of the unique feeling it originally had but bring it up-to-date and eliminate the closed-in rooms and downright weird layout that was the result of multiple, partial remodeling projects. We began with a long wishlist of changes which also required replacement of very antiquated plumbing, electrical wiring and HVAC. We even found a fireplace that had been walled in and needed major re-construction. Many other aspects and details on this incredible list we made included an all new kitchen layout, converting a bedroom into a master closet, adding new half-bath, completely rebuilding the master bath, and adding stone, tile and custom built cabinetry. Our design plans included many fixtures and details that we specified and required professional installation and careful handling. Innovative helped us make reasonable decisions. Their skilled staff took us through a design process that made sense. There were many questions and all were answered with sincere conversation and positive – innovation – on how we could achieve our goals. Innovative provided us with professional consultants, who listened and were courteous and creative, with solid knowledge and informative judgement. When they didn’t have an answer, they did the research. They developed a comprehensive project plan that exceeded our expectations. Every item on our long list was checked-off. All agreed on work was fulfilled and they completed all this in just under four months. Innovative took care of putting together a team of skilled professional specialists who were all dedicated to make everything right. Engineering, construction, supervision, and I cannot even begin to describe how much thanks we have for the demolition crew! Our multiple, detailed project designs from Raul and professional design advice from Mindy and the connections she recommended are all of the best quality. Diego Jr., Trevor and his team kept everything on track and neat and tidy every single day and Diego Sr., Mark, Ismael, Albert, Santiago and team are true craftsmen who follow-up and make the most minuscule woodworking details perfect. The cabinets by Tim and electrical work and installation of fixtures by Kemchan Harrilal-BB and Navindra Doolratram, and Augustine and his crew on tile and stone work – all perfection. Aisling and the office crew were always responsive to our calls and requests. And of course Clark and Eric who oversaw everything and gave us the best of the best! Apologies if we didn’t get everyone on this list – you’re all great! Thank you for your hard work and dedication. We can’t thank you enough Innovative Construction – we kind of want to do it again!

Modern Tudor on the Prairie
Our clients fell in love with the wide-open spaces of the White Oaks Savanna development. They dreamed of a home that celebrated the beauty of Minnesota’s ever-changing landscape and blurred the line between indoor and outdoor. They wanted a home with a traditional exterior, impressive entry, and modern interiors.
The large site provides spectacular views of the restored prairie landscape. All four sides of this home are refined and architecturally resolved since each elevation is highly visible in the open prairie setting. Properly locating the home on the site was critical to maintaining the stunning prairie views. The home is nestled behind a hill instead of sitting on top of it, so it is blocked from the neighbors and respects their views.
Natural materials adorn the exterior, including cedar, stone, stucco, and copper, that act as “jewelry” for the home. The cedar and copper will patina with time, adding richness and texture to the home.
Front Door:
The custom front door is 4 feet wide by 8 feet tall. It is paired with a matching fixed panel, so the door appears to be 8 feet wide from the outside, and is painted a cheery bright blue to greet visitors. The intentional placement of color adds vibrancy throughout the home in contrast to the quiet exterior colors. The bold pops of color requested by the client continue on the interior of the home, including a turquoise dining room, magenta closet doors, and a deep blue basement.
Lantern Staircase:
A triple-height stair floating in front of 18-foot-high windows welcomes visitors. At night, a hidden, remote controlled retractable shade scrim (lightweight shade) limits light pollution to follow the Dark Skies Initiative.
Great Room:
Cased openings of white oak create transition spaces and frame views to and from the grand, two-story great room. The entry and dining room have cozy 8-foot ceilings and are perched 12” up from the great room for views over the living room furniture. To avoid dining chairs sliding over the steps, a custom built-in credenza sits on the steps behind the dining table.
Folding Outswing Door:
The 20’ wide by 9.5’ tall folding outswing door blurs the line between outside and inside. A hidden bi-parting retractable bug screen allows the large door to remain open throughout the day to bring in fresh air.
Catwalk:
A catwalk, or raised walkway, on the upper floor overlooks the great room and leads to the guest suites. A long bench with built-in linen storage is tucked into a niche with clerestory windows, providing a cozy spot for guests to relax. Guest laundry is tucked into the backside of the fireplace chimney.
Owner's Suite:
From the start, the owners wanted their bedroom perched on the second level to maximize views of the prairie beyond. Located in its own wing of the home, the owners’ suite offers privacy. Magenta closet doors guide the owners into the bedroom and adjacent bathroom.
Lifestyle:
The home incorporates numerous lifestyle features that are as much a part of the house as the main spaces. A sauna is located on the main level, allowing for easy access after a dip in the pool and a wine cellar is tucked neatly under the staircase for convenient and beautiful display.

Despite the tiny space, we were able to combine different bottle orientations to maximize storage capacity. The top and bottom sections of the display row are rack openings for single bottle storage.

An eclectic mix of materials was the request for this kitchen. Following an inspirational picture that the clients had clipped from a newspaper, we made this kitchen come to life. Herringbone laid floor tile, rough knotty alder cabinetry, with a vintage finish on the island and touches of metal in the copper hood and sink.

Duplex Y is located in a multi apartment building, typical to the Carmel mountain neighborhoods. The building has several entrances due to the slope it sits on.
Duplex Y has its own separate entrance and a beautiful view towards Haifa bay and the Golan Heights that can be seen on a clear weather day.
The client - a computer high-tech couple, with their two small daughters asked us for a simple and functional design that could remind them of their frequent visits to central and northern Europe. Their request has been accepted.
Our planning approach was simple indeed, maybe even simple in a radical way:
We followed the principle of clean and ultra minimal spaces, that serve their direct mission only.
Complicated geometry of the rooms has been simplified by implementing built-in wood furniture into numerous niches.
The most 'complicated' room (due to its broken geometry, narrow proportions and sloped ceiling) has been turned into a kid's room shaped as a clean 'wood box' for fun, games and 'edutainment'.
The storage room has been refurbished to maximize it's purpose by creating enough space to store 90% of the entire family's demand.
We've tried to avoid unnecessary decoration. 97% of the design has its functional use in addition to its atmospheric qualities.
Several elements like the structural cylindrical column were exposed to show their original material - concrete.

The first impression is a granite cobblestone entry walk, flanked by natural stone pillars, which take you from the driveway to the front door. Drawing your attention to the front walk are decorative planters on pillars, displaying vibrant colors of seasonal arrangements that draw your attention to the front walk. Following the natural stone steps into the backyard are large stone outcropping walls and raised beds along the back and side foundation.

Sometimes it isn’t until you’ve deep cleaned your tiles that you realise just how dirty they were to begin with. This was the case with my customer in Thame, in the south of Oxfordshire where I worked on a classic red and black Quarry tiled floor which was far from being in its best condition.
My starting point in the cleaning process was to mix a strong solution of Tile Doctor Pro Clean, which is the reliable, multi-purpose alkaline cleaner that is safe to use on tile, stone and grout. The solution was left to soak into the tiles for ten minutes before being scrubbed into the floor with a rotary floor machine fitted with a stiff brush.
Following this, I rinsed the floor with clean water and then proceeded to wash it with Tile Doctor Grout Clean Up. This is a concentrated phosphoric acid cleaner designed to remove efflorescence and other mineral deposits such as grout smears.
Finally, I rinsed the tiles again with water and Tile Doctor Neutral Tile Cleaner, which is a pH neutral solution, to neutralise the chemicals and leave the floor fresh and clean, ready to be sealed. The floor was left to dry overnight.
The next day I returned to seal the floor after checking the tiles were dry. I opted to use two different sealers. The first was Tile Doctor Colour Grow, which is an impregnating sealer with the added effect of enhancing the natural colour in the stone. The second was Tile Doctor Seal & Go, a topical sealer that adds the high quality, durable sheen finish to the floor that the customer had requested.
I took the photograph below after sealing half the floor, it really shows the difference a sealer can make to a tiled floor.
Here’s the photo of theQuarry tiled floorafter sealing the whole floor. As you can see, they now have a new lease of life, and they’ll be much easier for the customer to keep looking great in the future.
