Bold colors and geometric patterns is what it's all about in this space as the client wanted a boutique hotel vibe with all the frills . A condo unit at the Seaholm towers in Austin is transformed from a plain modern-industrial aesthetic to a daring navy and magenta pad.

This Modern living area incorporated Blue and Fuchsia to add bold accents to a neutral palette.

The homeowner and matriarch of this family is a powerhouse. Always doing everything for others so I really wanted to create a special space where she could close the doors and feel completely at ease.
She has a feminine side that really comes across in life and in home decor so a little fuscia had to find it's way in here. Of course the inspiration came from the fabric as it almost always does.

The plants along this stairway feature plants from different mediterranean climates.
On either side of the bench there are wonderful plants that add texture and leafy fragrance- to the right is Helichrysum 'Limelight', and to the left is a peppermint scented Pelargonium. On the far right of the photo is a baby California native redbud, which will grow into a small tree. It will shade the bench in the summer time, and produce lots of fuchsia colored flowers in the spring.

The owner of this small shady garden in the heart of Noe Valley wanted an elegant outdoor room with enough warmth to ward off the cold of San Francisco’s summer nights. She also wanted her small upper deck to feel more connected to the lower deck. The design included replacing the two redwood decks and stairs with Brazilian Walnut and the addition of new railings. We added a unique water feature that could be seen from various vantage points, and a simple concrete fire pit large enough to be used as a coffee table.
A heated concrete bench made the small upper deck off of the kitchen more inviting and usable. We replaced a tall wooden plinth at one end of the upper deck with a long clay pot filled with succulents, connecting the two decks. The all weather cushioned couch and chaise lounge on the lower deck are back lit by elegant sconce lights. New shade tolerant plants such as Fuchsia Thymifolia, Hellebores, Loropetalum and a Box Honeysuckle add to the year round blooms of this small, elegant garden.

Beyond the typical toddler room canvas of bright primary colors, bold palettes can be achieved using warm secondary and intermediate colors such as yellow, orange, fuchsia with touches of cool blue, green, and grey.
Opting for walls painted in white or eggshell can leave many possibilities for pops of color and pattern to be introduced on bedding, upholstery, floor coverings, and even a wallpapered feature wall.

Accessories add charm and the finishing details to this space.
