Our client wanted an outdoor living space for her Border Collies and rescued cats. We used her existing patio and gave it a good power washing, fresh paint and we brought in Rough Sawn Redwood to create the fence and cat walks. We also added the trellis to support her healthy plants that would provide shade during the hotter months and bring several hummingbirds to home. PC: Aaron Gilless

Serpentine dry stacked granite walls celebrate regional materials while transforming this sloping yard into a multilevel extension of home. It features a secluded fire pit that looks out over a striking view of the stormwater pond below and mountains in the distance, activated by the occasional glimpse of local wildlife populations including bald eagles and deer. We increased safety and improved usage in the deep back yard by carving out a path following the natural swaleway. Incorporating the same honeycomb boulders and blackstar gravel used throughout the property, the home how has a beautiful path leading down to the greenbelt beyond the gate. The area has also been cleared for future wildflower seeding and future utilization of the back acreage.
