This classical sized LA bathroom is 9' by 4' with a shower stall of 3' by 3'. The color scheme was to go with whites and gray but with a touch of earth tones coming from the accent Limestone tiles. to gain additional space we used a 18" deep vanity and a great skirted toileted with 11" rough-in drain. the floors are white wood look a like ceramic tiles and gray matching wood look a like tile baseboards. The center piece of the whole bathroom is the shower, using vertical chevron style tile gives the feeling of space and at the same time the chevron shape adds depth. for the accent of the shower unit we used mosaic 3D shapes of limestone tile and to finish it off a stainless steel hidden drain and a Hansgrohe shower system. When we got a green light from the designer and the customer after their acceptance of our shop drawing, we started fabrication of those custom made cabinets. For the living room, we chose to keep it open and airy. The large fan adds visual interest while all of the furnishings remained neutral. The wall color is Functional Gray from Sherwin Williams. The fireplace was covered in American Clay in order to give it the look of concrete. We had custom benches made out of reclaimed barn wood that flank either side of the fireplace. The TV is on a mount that can be pulled out from the wall and swivels, when the TV is not being watched, it can easily be pushed back away.

Looking for a nice clean crown molding, but what something different? These homeowners did just that with a simple clean flat molding applied to the wall and ceiling to create this look.
