This bright colorful room was designed as both a practice space for the client's a cappella group and a reading room. Custom-designed built-ins with a window seat and a vintage daybed provide cozy spots to curl up with a good book. The over-scaled light fixture adds drama to the space. Not only did the entire room get an aesthetic upgrade, but the functionality was bumped up more than I even thought possible in this 10' x 9'. She now has more storage, a work space and a mirror to get ready for a busy tween life.

Preppy gingham is the focal point of this beachy bedroom, but soft accents make this space feel like home: a cozy chair, botanical artwork, and a seashell-inspired bowl.

We loved putting together this Nautical Nursery. With a dark Navy Blue painted wall, every piece of artwork pops. We found great pieces at Hobby Lobby and Target to match Caden Lane Brett's navy gingham bedding. The curtains are a must have and really bring the nautical and preppy feel to the room.
