A lovely yard that started as a long bowling alley of lawn. We wanted to create a more human scale in the lounge area without building too many visual barriers. The overall effect is splashes of woodland across a contemporary canvas.

Building off of the architectural tones of the shower enclosure, custom vanities gain their appeal with bright chrome accents. Set against clean white cabinetry and white cambria quartz tops, the look is at once modern and glamorous. Adding to the luxe factor is the rear wall covered in Arabescato Bronzetto marble. The stone has a dynamic vein pattern that adds texture to the space without overwhelming it, while subtle streaks of bronze give off a warm glow. Weiss found the slabs while on a trip to Connecticut. When it came time to put together this area of the home, it became clear that this was the place for them.

Similar in form to the MLA Glow House, this cozy lodge is laid out with extreme efficiency in mind. Weighing in at a mere 20’-0” x 21’-0”, it has very low impact on the land, with minimalism in mind throughout all of the details. Despite the space saving techniques employed at the stair and circulation, kitchen appliances, and even with the furniture layouts, this cabin still maintains a loft-like, open interior.
While most appropriate for a hilly or flat site, the compact form of the Mini Glow House can be adapted to virtually any site. Despite a small footprint, it comfortably sleeps two with additional room for guests.

The project we recently completed was contracted by one of our long time partners in Design- Debbie Davis at Studio Design. The island measures at 85x45, material is 3cm Patagonia Granite from Galleria of Stone. The edge is built up to a flat 3” miter all around. The stone has a large amount of natural quartz stone throughout the slab, and this quartz is translucent. We built a special board of LED panels to place underneath to enhance the area where the quartz passes the light through. The perimeter is 3cm Listra from Penta Quartz, it is a solid quartz color that does not compete but is rather a complimentary to the Patagonia slab on the island.

This elegant kitchen renovation represents the best trends in efficiency, sustainability and functionality. A redesign of the space puts new appliances in a more functional working triangle. The large island, with space for barstools, is friendly to social interaction. Overall, neutral colors and styles, along with custom woodworking, make the space timeless. It’s also sustainable and forward-thinking: No particle board was used in these cabinets, so there are no VOC (volatile organic compound) emissions. Wood materials were sourced in North America and made locally in Melbourne, Florida.
Energy-saving technology includes dimmable LED light panels, which make the translucent, recycled-glass backsplashes glow under wall cabinets. LED under-cabinet lights are controlled separately, and there is motion-sensor-activated LED toe-kick lighting around the cabinets' base. A pop-up electrical outlet serves the desk. The desk has a security box that opens only with the owner’s fingerprint.
There’s ample storage, and materials are easy to clean and maintain. From the family dining area, where children can do their homework, to the kitchen’s universal, accessible design, this space is comfortable and practical for all ages - a place to grow and live well.
