This light and airy kitchen is the definition of elegance. It has white shaker cabinets with satin gold pulls topped with white quartz counters. The matching white quartz backsplash provides a clean look. The center piece of the room is the large island! With seating for four, the deep blue island is loaded with storage and has a drawer microwave. For a special touch on the white quartz counter, we used an extra thick quartz slab. The striking gold pendants are from Ferguson Lighting. Sleek and contemporary, this beautiful home is located in Villanova, PA. Blue, white and gold are the palette of this transitional design. With custom touches and an emphasis on flow and an open floor plan, the renovation included the kitchen, family room, butler’s pantry, mudroom, two powder rooms and floors. This small kitchen is located in an historical row home in Center City, Philadelphia. These custom made contemporary cabinets compliment the green subway tiled walls nicely. Inspiration for a transitional 3/4 gray tile gray floor alcove shower remodel in New York with shaker cabinets, gray cabinets, a two-piece toilet, beige walls, an undermount sink, a hinged shower door and white countertops

We choose to highlight this project because even though it is a more traditional design style its light neutral color palette represents the beach lifestyle of the south bay. Our relationship with this family started when they attended one of our complimentary educational seminars to learn more about the design / build approach to remodeling. They had been working with an architect and were having trouble getting their vision to translate to the plans. They were looking to add on to their south Redondo home in a manner that would allow for seamless transition between their indoor and outdoor space. Design / Build ended up to be the perfect solution to their remodeling need. As the project started coming together and our clients were able to visualize their dream, they trusted us to add the adjacent bathroom remodel as a finishing touch. In keeping with our light and warm palette we selected ocean blue travertine for the floor and installed a complimentary tile wainscot. The tile wainscot is comprised of hand-made ceramic crackle tile accented with Lunada Bay Selenium Silk blend glass mosaic tile. However the piéce de résistance is the frameless shower enclosure with a wave cut top.

Inspiration for a transitional home office remodel in San Francisco

In addition to the large, white sectional are two conversation chairs with gray floral motifs and chrome-finished bases. Lighting includes modern ceiling lights and a simple modern floor lamp that sits off in a far corner.

This view showcases the luxurious scale of the Lake Forest master bathroom. The marble walk-in shower with frameless glass doors sits opposite a custom espresso double vanity topped with marble. A crystal chandelier ties the design together, offering a warm glow that reflects across the polished surfaces.
