We spiced up this rustic home in Yorktown Heights, NY with a craftsman style metal Ship Ladder. The mixing of the dark metal against the wood shows an undeniable flare fit just for this customers spunky style!

This home office was designed to act as both a serene guest room and a home office with work space for two people. Both the husband and wife work from home, so two desk spaces were a must. We were working with a somewhat small footprint, so we opted for a daybed that can pull out to become a king bed for guests. We brought in soft mint touches with rustic, industrial twists. This commission was created to be the focal point in a living room. The couple I created it for had seen one of my paintings that they really liked. It just wasn't big enough to suit their circumstances. I recreated a similar acrylic painting 54"x 54" . It features marine navy blue, teal, cerulean blue, silver metallic and a bit of yellow orange. This 30" x 24" abstract acrylic painting has been done in shades of cobalt blue, sky blue, citrine, chartreuse, white, soft sea green, and royal blue. Finished in gloss varnish to protect the piece from dust and UV light for years to come. Can be hung vertically or horizontally. Gorgeous vivid rich colors in a great contemporary style.

A traditional living room given a fun personality through a bold black, red, and gold color palette. The gold was used as our neutral while the heavy black balanced out the sassy reds. We added in a few accent pieces, such as the gallery style lithograph (as a backdrop to the grand piano) and a transitional floral rug, keeping the very traditional space from feeling too one-dimensional. Project designed by Michigan's Bayberry Cottage, who serve South Haven, Kalamazoo, Saugatuck, St Joseph, & Holland in Michigan.
