The littlest member of the family loves animals and it seemed only fitting that her bedroom should be filled with woodland creatures. Our team installed hundreds of white birch "trees, branches, and leaves". The colorful floral fabric treatment anchors the bed area. The chandelier is so little girl perfect. Porcelain flowers on a brass frame add just the right touch for the woodland bedroom. A large natural wood toned bookcase provides storage for books, treasures, and collections. We anchored it to the wall for safety.

Imagine walking outside your home and pulling fresh fruit off the stem. Espalier fruit trees are like having an orchard in your own yard. Plus, in addition to producing delicious fruit, the ornamental shapes have a high wow-factor and require a small footprint. Fruiting espalier trees are available from River Road Farms in a variety of designs. Please call 800-297-1435 or email RIVERRD@USIT.NET for availability.

Illuminate any wintery scene with our Lighted Birch Grove. Each tree is wrapped in birch-printed paper and set into a reclaimed wood base. There are six trees in this grove Lighted Birch Forest..

This church sits on a property that is approximately one acre in size that is located in a suburban setting in Baltimore County. I designed a new planting plan for much of the property and installed much of it along with the assistance of others. Formerly the property was mainly lawn. I designed plantings around the new addition and the original buildings as well. The plantings consisted of dozens of mostly native trees (native MD’s piedmont plant community) and flowering perennials and grasses. This garden is now over twenty years old.

Stepping stones in a minimal gravel paved area lead past two lounge chairs to the intimate dining area. The herringbone-patterned limestone patio dissipates into a lush planting bed filled with loose swaths of shade-loving perennials and seasonal bulbs. Beech hedging, and formal clipped evergreens, surround the space and provide privacy, structure and winter interest to the garden. On axis to the main interior living space of the home, the fountain, is the focal point of the garden. A limestone water wall featuring an engraved pattern of fallen Honey Locust leaves nods to the centrally located mature Honey Locust tree that anchors the garden. Water, flowing down the wall, falls a short distance into a pool with a submerged limestone panel. The light noise of the falling water helps soften the sounds of the bustling downtown neighbourhood, creating a tranquil back drop for living and entertaining.

The railing in composed of branches we picked out of a pile downstream of a local beaver dam, they're all nibbled by the beavers.

I've built my boys a tree house!
The tree house is big enough to fit 4 campers. 2/3 of the material was scrap wood from other projects or recuperated from the side of the road (windows) and beams from an area barn that was dismantled.
A big big thanks to Martin Bouvier de MB Reno-Deco for helping me raise the structure and do the roof!
Also a big thanks to my kids grandfather who donated the green rocket slide.
