Dark painted built-ins anchor the space with quiet drama, while a fuzzy rug, playful organic lighting, and family-friendly fabrics keep it warm, approachable, and never too precious to use.

Our homeowner approached us first in order to remodel her master suite. Her shower was leaking and she wanted to turn 2 separate closets into one enviable walk in closet. Kitchen: The two biggest requests are homeowner had for their kitchen remodel was banquette seating and to reconfigure it so that she didn’t do so much walking while cooking. This transitional kitchen features white painted cabinets and a granite countertop. There are 4 pieces of historic porcelain tile from South America featured. The flooring is Narbina in a French pattern. In addition to the designer pendent light by Jamie Young: Flowering Lotus Antique Gold, there are also LED recessed lights. For the appliances our client decided on a Thermador 36” Gas Range, Kitchen Aid Refrigerator and Thermador Dishwasher. The kitchen has open shelving above the countertop and in the pantry.

When considering the heavy traffic and the daily use from two toddlers in the household, it was smart to go with a stylish, yet practical design. Wainscot made a nice change to this room, adding an architectural interest and an overall classic feel to this cape-style traditional home. Installing custom wainscoting may be a challenge for most DIY’s, however in this case the homeowners knew they needed a professional and felt they were in great hands with Renovisions. Details certainly made a difference in this project; adding crown molding, careful attention to baseboards and trims had a big hand in creating a finished look. The painted wood vanity in color, sage reflects the trend toward using furniture-like pieces for cabinets. The smart configuration of drawers and door, allows for plenty of storage, a true luxury for a powder room. The quartz countertop was a stunning choice with veining of sage, black and white creating a Wow response when you enter the room. The dark stained wood trims and wainscoting were painted a bright white finish and allowed the selected green/beige hue to pop. Decorative black framed family pictures produced a dramatic statement and were appealing to all guests. The attractive glass mirror is outfitted with sconce light fixtures on either side, ensuring minimal shadows. We swapped the old white cabinetry for new custom Wellborn shaker-style cabinets in a coffee stain and installed a 'City Lights Tokyo' Daltile tile backsplash. The countertops were topped with Giallo Verona granite. An oversize island was designed into the space to match the new custom cabinetry and provided comfortable seating for five, also eliminating the need for a kitchen table. The old back door was replaced with a large sliding glass door letting in more natural light. Other highlights of this kitchen remodel include a beautiful Maglia Bronze chandelier that creates a stunning focal point, along with warm and durable Bella Cera Sisters chester engineered hickory hardwood flooring throughout.

The homeowners approached us about helping them with an "impossible" task. They said they had spoken to contractors about connecting the main house with their existing 2 car garage. The contractors all said it was impossible and wouldn't look good. Also, the homeowner hated the Victorian style that the house had. So, we connected the house and the garage with a mud room and office and added a third bay on the garage. Then we changed the style of the house to a craftsman's style that suited the homeowners much better.
