This basement guest room in a Denver bungalow gained an egress window where an old basement hopper window existed, which lets in ample south light during the day, while recessed lighting takes care of keeping things bright at night.

This classic 1920's brick colonial home needed a new kitchen and updated first floor bath. A small addition to the back of the home was all that was needed to create a fresh new updated space while maintaining the original charm and scale of the home.

This was a detailed exterior and interior restoration of an 1894 Victorian originally designed by influential architect and developer Joseph Leonard. Saikley Architects and Buestad Construction worked closely with the clients to uncover evidence of original exterior and interior details that had been removed and recreate them. Minor changes were made to the second story layout to add a bathroom for a master suite while staying true to the original feeling of the house.
