This herb and lettuce cutting garden is just down the path from the kitchen patio. It's a great place to grow the traditional French Herbes de Provence ( savory, marjoram, rosemary, thyme, & oregano) and use them fresh in salads and marinates for grilling. A lounge chair and umbrella makes this the perfect spot to peruse traditional cookbooks or your favorite recipe websites on an electronic device.

The window did not change... we pulled the sink forward and centered it, now, there is plenty of room for plants and herbs and some funky fun art in the deep bay behind the sink.

This large greenhouse is actually attached to the kitchen! There will be planting beds of all sizes to accommodate fruits and veggies year round. This is the ultimate herb garden in your kitchen!

Older homes invite you to be creative with space. When called to help with the addition of a pantry, I was thrilled to help this couple, who loved their beautiful home, to realize the completion to a long thought out and desired item.
A pantry.
The Pantry was not very wide but we utilized every inch. Included was a wall oven, refigerator, work space, lots of cabinets for storage, buildt in space racks and at the end because the homeowner loved to grow her own herbs, a garden window.
Now the space is filled with beautiful warm sunlight and the smell of fresh herbs.
The kitchen was not that old and still in great shape so, we decided to add additional cabinets over the also new cook top, inserting a microwave to save space, new lighting and fresh paint to the existing cabinets. Finally capping it off with a beautiful subway style stainless steel backsplash. The result was a much more updated, contemporary feel. In fresh gray and white tones, the black granite a great complement to finish the room.
