A charming traditional style house in a great neighborhood. The project started out with plans for a new roof, new kitchen cabinets, fresh paint, and carpet; however, structural problems were quickly identified which led to a complete renovation down to the floor joists.

View of kid's fort. Designed as a three level fort, each of the four different facades create a surface to allow for climbing and access into and out of the structure. The modular structure is stained in yellow to identify it's playfulness and to fit in nicely to it's wooded surroundings.

In each of the New Jersey Suite bedrooms, an assortment of beds were replaced with new captain's beds from Durham, to add additional storage for guests under the beds. The Monmouth Room had no space for a nightstand, so a small shelf with eagle base was placed on the wall to serve as a spot to place a glass of water, or reading glasses at night. Brass plaques were added to some of the works of art, to identify their subject matter and artist, or identify the portrait as needed. Swing arm lamps by the beds provide reading light. The outline quilted coverlets were made by Virginia Quilting, Inc. to my specifications. Bob Narod, Photographer. Design by Linda H. Bassert, Masterworks Window Fashions & Design, LLC.

The bigger the possibilities!
Sometimes you have all the space you need right in front of you, and all you need to do is take another look around. This kitchen project was all about identifying opportunities for enhancement, and we were able to drastically increase not only the counter space, but also the amount of room to just hang out in. This kitchen opens up and comes alive with light neutrals and pops of bright colors, and an ornate tile backsplash ties it all together.

Table with transparent varnished metal base, white or graphite embossed lacquered steel. Top in Canaletto walnut, burned oak or 0.5 tempered clear glass. The finish of the base identifies a transparent coating on ferrous raw material. The presence of more or less obvious stains, colour variations, scratches and irregular edges is a feature of the special material processing and is part of the patina, not a defect. Manufactured By Cattelan Italia.
