This jewel box bath features gloriously variegated stone. Such stone can be very challenging to work with - this designer spent more than two full days specifying where each and every piece would go to create the flowing naturalistic patterns you see here.
Renovisions
These South Shore of Boston homeowners are no different than many recent clients who show an interest in upgrading their dated and aged bathrooms. They are looking to modernize, reflecting today’s bath trends but also desire increased re-sale value with new fixtures, tile and ventilation system. Given the time we spend in our baths, it is not surprising. (A recent Houzz, survey found that 60% of people occupy their bathrooms for at least one hour per day plus 58% of people surveyed said they use their smart phone or tablet to handle a multitude of activities.)
This stunning full bath Renovision involved replacing the existing builder-grade vanity, sink and faucet with striking dark blue cabinetry featuring a bank of three deep drawers on each side of a two-door sink base. This client likes the new standard vanity height, no 34.5” which allows more storage space for cosmetic and cleaning supply items.
Silestone’s Blanco Zeus countertop clearly modernizes the look and feel of this bath and doesn’t take away from the grey wood-look planked porcelain tiled floor which is on trend. The tub/shower walls with niche for shampoos and 3”x6” white subway tiles reflect a classic, clean and fresh look. The curved shower rod provides additional room while showering and its chrome finish ties in with the new shiny fixtures.
Adding a few architectural elements definitely enhanced this bath. Renovisions re-worked the existing closet space with a custom built piece which included open shelving to store bath towels and door(s) on the bottom to accommodate laundry hamper.
This furniture-look closet along with the window, trims and plantation shutters were color matched in the same white painted finish; stylish and sensible indeed!

Townhouse renovation in Brooklyn: We redesigned the rear end of the house as an expanded family kitchen with a back door to the deck. We also added a new connection from the entrance hall to the kitchen and fit a small powder room under the stairs. The old windows and doors were replaced with new, larger ones, and the entire kitchen was gutted and refitted with new cabinetry and a banquette dining area. The space was designed to take advantage of the bright southern exposure, with lots of white materials, grounded by the dark base cabinets.

Our client lives in a turn-of-the-century home in Long Island where we’ve designed and installed custom closets as he has renovated the home. The master bedroom had an unwieldy and unsightly closet addition that a previous owner had installed. Working with Bill’s contractor, we made recommendations to change the structure of the closet to meld with the style of the home, and add new doors that would allow easy access to the reach-in-closet. The creative closet solutions included varying the depths of the units (drawers are deeper) so that the storage above the shelves is accessible for pillows and blankets. Now, Bill not only has a beautiful closet and readily accessible storage, but he has increased the resale value of his home by maximizing the closet space in the master bedroom. The closet organization ideas included sizing the drawers precisely to accommodate Bill's DVD collection, so that he can use those drawers for DVDs or clothing.

Dynamic Garage Door
Investing in a custom garage door can prove to be a wise decision, not only to increase your home's curb appeal and beauty but to increase the resale value of your home. Dynamic Garage Door specializes in designing unique garage door designs out of high quality materials to achieve a garage door upgrade that will certainly add value and beauty to the front elevation of any home.
This eclectic style garage door with its flare of Mid Century Modern design was crafted in solid mahogany horizontal planks. The top windows were done in a group of three for a modernistic asymmetrical appearance that deviates from the norm of four panel window clusters that has been overused in the industry for way too long. Each window is gorgeously framed with a silver-coated steel frame that holds a white laminate glass panes that allow ample natural light to shine through and light up the inside of the garage while the opaqueness of the glass offers privacy from outside onlookers. The silver metal window frames against the dark stained mahogany make a beautiful contrast that accentuates the three window pane look that is a focal feature in itself. Dynamic Garage Doors are authentically designed to suit each unique home we get to work on. Our designers are skilled in world-class architecture and that is why our custom garage doors are distinct to others.
"Our custom wood garage doors are uniquely designed for each home's authentic architectural style."
