Domino Modern Dining Table is intended to impress and awe with its amazing multi-dimensionality. Designed by Andrea Lucatello for Cattelan Italia and manufactured in Italy, Domino Dining Table is striking without being overdone and functional while representing glamor and minimalistic elegance.

We completely flipped the kitchen layout, removed walls and added a steel beam, as well as footings and columns in the garage to support the new structural load. The new layout is open, filled with natural light and has; incredible cabinet storage, a dream pantry with glass pocket doors, a computer workstation, subway tile backsplash, as well as new windows, doors, flooring and lighting. This first floor remodel also included wainscoting throughout and a guest bathroom.

Lauren Hunt from Reico Kitchen and Bath in Charlotte, NC, worked with The Atta Group to design a transitional-inspired kitchen and bar using Masterpiece cabinetry. The kitchen features Masterpiece cabinets in the Martel Evercore doorstyle in a Frost finish on the perimeter. The kitchen island and bar area both features the same doorstyle with a combination of two different finishes, Riverbed and Shortbread. The countertops are Calacatta Macchia Vecchia Sapien Stone Porcelain. The client shared their experience, saying, “I love the range hood and the slatted island decor. Riverbed is a beautiful color in both sun and shade. Lauren’s advice to get samples and lay them out in different lighting was invaluable. She went above and beyond, even coming out in the parking lot on a hot summer day to help us. We truly couldn’t have done this without her. Lauren was always patient and supportive as we made decisions, and she never pressured us. Any future projects we have, we’ll 100% reach out to Lauren. She even welcomed our newborn to the showroom!” Lauren shared, “The clients came with a clear aesthetic vision and plenty of inspiration photos, but they gave me the freedom to recommend and create a space that worked for their growing family while still looking great. We added design details like two-toned dining room cabinets, dark accent shelves in glass towers, an arched valance to match the doorways, and a custom hood that pulls from the island finishes. My favorite element is the slatted accent on the island, which the installers executed perfectly. This renovation was a big project, starting with a blank slate, which can be overwhelming with so many options. But it was incredibly rewarding to work with these clients who had such a creative vision. We really worked together to create a space that met their needs while showcasing their style. This white oak dining table looked so incredible in this space. We feel honored to have been chosen to build pieces for this amazing space. The dining table has two pedestals that are solid white oak boxes with waterfall mitered edges. The two boxes are connected by two stretchers to support the gap. As with all of our tables, we recessed steel c channel underneath the table top to ensure that the tabletop remains flat over time. Unfortunately, we didn't end up receiving any photographs of the base so we have attached a few of our CAD drawings of the piece so that you can visualize what we described above. The drawings don't do them justice but you will get the idea. This white oak custom dining table was handmade in San Diego, CA.

Our clients, a couple in their 40’s, approached us to remodel their Kitchen, which felt cramped and closed off from the rest of the Main Floor. They felt especially isolated when entertaining guests. They love to cook and entertain, but the lack of space made both of those things difficult for them to do. We removed the walls surrounding the Kitchen, opening it up to the rest of the Main Floor. We expanded the Kitchen across the new open area, allowing for a lot more counter space for preparing and serving food. This also gave room for an enormous island, which is perfect for guests to gather around while entertaining. During the planning stage, it was discovered that beams and posts needed to remain in the space for structural support. Our talented designer, Chantal, was able to incorporate the beams and posts in the design of the Kitchen, so they served a logical purpose, rather than feeling like they were in the way. Featured in the new Kitchen are classic black and white cabinets, complemented by brass fixtures and accents. Ample task and ambient lighting was installed in order to brighten up this new space and allow for better visibility when cooking in the Kitchen. We also installed luxury vinyl flooring throughout the space, which is not only stylish,but incredibly durable. From the beginning of the project, our Clients shared with us their concerns about the project staying within the budget, and the accuracy of the timeline for construction. Ultimately, we were able to ease those concerns, as we finished the renovation on time, and within the allotted budget without compromising on the quality or design wishes of our clients. A pantry and closet were removed from the exterior wall, allowing for additional cabinetry, and a much brighter and open appearance. Lighting was upgraded, and new appliances were purchased. Decorá Custom cabinetry was chosen, in an Inset door style. A custom paint color was used, to match the existing Sherwin Williams ‘Alabaster’ millwork. The appliances are perfectly built in to custom-sized units for a seamless and flush appearance. The reverse-arch island includes cleverly angled cabinets, and a built-in microwave. The Butler’s Pantry has abundant storage, including drawers, display areas, and a wine shelf. Balancing the Butler’s Pantry, the range top area also features glass door cabinets, as well as abundant drawers, and hidden storage. It’s the details that make this kitchen such a showstopper! 9 foot ceilings allow for 12” of stacked crown molding through the whole kitchen. Classic bead board wraps the island, and serves to complete the Butler’s Pantry. The wine shelf includes a simple arch valance, an element that is repeated in the arched furniture base and the arch countertop supports. Mullion glass doors are an eye-catching addition. The cabinets are topped off with classic marble countertops, keeping the fresh light feeling; with a solid Walnut bar top as the stunning centerpiece. The Herringbone pattern of the backsplash tile offers subtle interest. Brushed nickel Finial hinges add a vintage look to the cabinets, as do the new light fixtures. The end result is an incredible transformation!
