My client loves to cook but his kitchen was dark and old. He wanted an organized kitchen to hold all his pots, pans and tools as well as an area for a small office and a big counter for his friends and family to watch him cooking. Our solution was to open up the wall that looks into the living room to build a larger countertop and bring more light. We also added 42" tall cabinets, designed an office space with hidden drawers for a printer and cabinet file, added spice racks on both sides of the stove and installed retractable pocket doors in some cabinets.
